Doesn't look like much when you walk or drive pass but it's a cute small café. I came for the bagels. They have a variety of bagels and breakfast food. At this current moment you can't dine in because of COVID but they are taking take out orders. I got an everything bagel and a blueberry bagel. Veggie spread for the everything bagel and blueberry spread for the blueberry bagel. If you have a little sweet tooth in the morning the blueberry bagel paired with the blueberry spread was so good. This place is great for bagels!

The Challah French Toast was amazing!! The bread is fluffy and rich, and I topped it with fresh berries and bananas for a sweet and delicious breakfast! My mom had an Eggel Sandwich with bacon and cheddar, and she raved about that. The Bagel offers simple, affordable, and delectable fare!

I have ordered the same thing from them and they have gotten it right one time. I only order 1 pancake and bacon. I asked them so many times to cook my bacon well done not crispy and each time it has gotten worse. This time with my order the pancake was not good either. I will not be ordering from this location again. The food was distasteful and I could not finish it all.

Air is broken. Wait staff was jut one person. Owners seem to not seem to know how to run a restaurant. Waitress forgot my wife's order and had to come back to the table to ask what it was again. They got my order wrong twice. I specifically asked them to describe the pastrami sandwich and they said it was beef with pepper on the outside pieces. I said I would have the Pastrami with meet only. They made me a rubuen. The second time they brought me out a corn beef sandwich. They wanted to make it a third time, but at this point My time is worth more than a mediocre sandwich place. I'm sure covid has taken a toll on the wait staff, and If I go back I will update this review. This one star review is of the state of this business today 8/10/21. The owner(s) never even came to ask why I had touched my 14$ sandwich(s). If a place is understaffed and not busy, and the wait staff cannot keep up, the owners should help out.

I've been there four times and only eaten once because they can't seem to (a) stay open during their posted hours or (b) communicate about their hours when they vary from what's posted. So frustrating. Also, their phone doesn't work, so good luck calling. The one time I ate there, the bagel was decent. Toppings were fresh. Good luck if you *try* to go.

Excellent service. I watched the cashier. She knew her regular customers, well.

This place is terrible. My cream cheese was lumpy and sour and my bagel was stale. I sat in line for 20 minutes for something that my 5 year old could’ve made better. You call this New York Style? I’ve been to New York. As a matter of fact, my husband is from there. So I’ve had my fair share of bagels. Don’t waste your gas, time, nor money coming here. The employees were the only good part.

Go here often with hubby and FIL, and the food is always banging. Everything on the end is delicious and pretty inexpensive for the quality. If you haven't, you definitely need to try it!!!

A hidden gem in East Memphis! I don't know why we haven't tried this place before. It was busy, but we were sat in less than 15 minutes. The coffee was great, especially when most restaurants leave coffee as an afterthought! We had the vanilla latte and mocha latte, both amazing. The turkey sandwich, NY style, was piled HIGH with fresh shaved turkey. You need to try this place, whether it's in the restaurant or next door trying a fresh bagel and shmear!

Fabulous breakfast place! There were 15 of us in our party and all the food came out hot and the order was perfect. Blake and his crew were so nice and helpful.

Not sure why there are negative reviews--service was prompt for my to-go order at a very busy time and the bagel was a solid 8/10. I look forward to returning, especially since Memphis does not have an extraordinary amount of shops dedicated to just bagels!

First time. Had to wait awhile for our toasted bagels to go but the menu looks good for a real Jewish deli. Will be back for the matzo ball soup.

Food is good but when placing an online order for to go and having to wait over 15 mins longer on my lunch break defeats the purpose of online orders to go. I work in food service as well so I don't even show up right when I'm informed it will be ready. Last time I did an online order here the same thing, had to wait longer on an order to be ready. When you get an half hour for lunch online ordering helps being able to make use of time.

Excellent bagel shop! The service and the food were exquisite. My waitress was a delightful, energetic and savvy African-American girl ejo knew the entire menu impeccably. You could swear she had been born and raised in Tel Aviv's Park Tzameret neighborhood her whole life. I had a finger lickin' good lox salmon bagel and a corned beef knish, they were awesome!!!
