Terrible Hotel! The worst! The hotel floors are dirty, the bedrooms were used when we arrived. The bedroom floors are flooded, pool is dirty! chairs are broken. The said they serve food, but there is non available. The didn’t have wash clothes, they gave us towels to wash up with. The ice machines are broken on every floor. And to top it off our truck was broken into. Not only ours but 6 other trucks. The worst hotel stay ever!!!!

The website says a restaurant and drinks are available. There's even a sign in the lobby. We got here after a long drive from Tulsa through thunderstorms looking forward to dinner and a drink. Nope. Not happening. They're undergoing renovations and don't have a liquor license. The only evening food is "sports grill" type food. Very disappointing. However, the people working here are amazing!! Apologizing for the state of things. Larry, Collum, and Dermott(?). We decided to order breakfast (not included) and we're surprised at how good it was. Unfortunately, plastic forks and knives. One of the bedshide lampshades was cracked and broken. But the A/C worked great.

Wort marriott experience ever. Had room booked in advance and their “systems” went down on a Friday 6 days before my arrival. Arrived to sign on door saying they couldnt accept customers and not to come in. They locked the door. I demanded to come in and the manager was not in to help her staff with irrate customers. I was stranded with my wife and no hotel. They still have not performed on the plantinum bonvoy stay guarantee which is to find a room for you or $100 and 90k points. They should not be a marriott brand and hope marriott revokes their franchise. Stay 75 plus nights year with marriott and never been treated like this. Do not stay at this hotel!

Not a safe hotel. Not a clean hotel. There was a shooting murder 1.17.2023. Zero Communication from Marriott. Highly disappointed with the chain. Checked in for business because of reviews and the ratings. They are in accurate.

The people and the place were so nice, but the food options were slim to none. You got 3 options for breakfast, and each one was out of an item it came with.

The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. In particular, the front desk was warm and hospitable. The carpets in the hallways need a major cleaning and so do the ones in the rooms. The pool area was inviting and the entrance gave us a place to go aside from the rooms. The coffee was free and excellent all day long.

I'm not sure how this could have been worse. I'm a very regular business and leisure traveler and Courtyard usually fits the bill. But wow, this place is terrible, so don't trust the brand. Where to start? From the room not ready, to having to move rooms because it was dirty and noisy, to a room with cigarette butts covering the deck with burns in the bedding, to no food at all one day, a staff that doesn't care (one actually said, "I have no responsibility for what happens when I'm not here, so you're on your own."), broken light fixtures, absolutely gross dirty, and stained furniture, to overcharging by not removing my reservation hold on my credit card. I even got trapped in the shower for a while when the glass doors wouldn't open because doors wouldn't stay in the tracks! Scary. It goes on and on--horrible. Marriott really needs to get this one off their roster--it will ruin your trip to Memphis.

Even if there is no other option, don’t book this hotel. As a Marriott Titanium level member, I booked a room at Marriott Courtyard Memphis East/Bill Morris Parkway on August 2 for two nights (August 9-10). The room was guaranteed to my credit card (confirmation # 74048895). There was a one night penalty if I did not show up. On August 9, while driving from Nashville to Memphis I did a mobile check-in at 10 pm and received a message that I was all set! I arrived at 11:10 pm, went to the front desk to pick up my room key and was told they had no rooms due to a golf tournament. I told him I had a guaranteed room with a charge to my credit card and a confirmation just an hour ago that they had a room for me. He said “I don’t care. We do not have any rooms available.” I asked to see the manager and the night supervisor came in to tell me that “We don’t have any rooms available. You must leave the lobby now.” I asked again to talk to the manager. She said the manager/owner instructed her “to call non-emergency police if I don’t leave the lobby immediately.” I asked for their names and they refused to identify themselves. I left the lobby, went to my car and called the Marriott Bonvoy Help line. The Marriott Bonvoy rep based on my Titanium level said that the hotel should have booked me another room for free. I told her that they didn’t offer to help me with an alternative room, insisting that I should go and find room in another hotel. Marriott Bonvoy rep asked if she should book me another room and she booked a room for me at the Four Points Sheraton, 10 miles away at an additional cost of $215. At 1 am I called the Marriott Titanium Desk and lodged a complaint. I spoke with Sergei, complaint #376663742. I took him through the sequence of events and he said the hotel would contact me in a few days. Sergei contacted the hotel front desk and said he spoke to Fredrick who confirmed that they do not have any rooms available and that I had a confirmed reservation. They left the reservation in place so that I would be charged for the room as a no-show. Essentially, they sold my room and were still going to charge me for it, even though I showed up. Sergei told them to cancel the reservation so I do not get charged for one night. Over 10 days ago, and I still have not heard from the hotel or from the Marriott Support Team. I am out $547.96 for a hotel room ($332.74 + $215.22 additional cost) that night. The Marriott Courtyard Memphis East should pay for that entire room since they failed to live up to the Marriott Titanium contract rules. At a minimum, someone in the Marriott organization should be covering the additional cost. As a lifelong Marriott traveler, I am extremely disappointed in the Marriott Courtyard Memphis East location and the entire organization. This incident will figure large in my future travel arrangements.

This hotel was a disaster. When I checked in she asked me what I was driving and I told her we were moving my son form college. She suggested we move our car to another spot as they have had some trouble and if I parked in that spot she could keep an eye on it. That was the first clue. We checked into the rom and when we were about to go to sleep I pulled down my covers and discovered that the sheet was stained. it had about 20 red spots on it. You can imagine what it looked like. The young lady at the front desk found us a new room and as we were walking down the hall it seem like there were three teens sitting in the hallway at 11 looking like they were partying and two small kids running down the hall. I went to the front desk to ask why I didn't get a water as I am a Marriott Titanium and she told me there were problems with the management and they didn't give them out, but would give me one if I really wanted one. We did finally get to our new room at 11 PM and the bed was fine, the room dark and quiet. In the morning when I opened the curtain you could tell the curtains need replaced. I am not sure what kind of hotel this is, but I will not be going back.

This courtyard is a mess, you cannot get your room cleaned during your stay, the soap is so small they do not last more than one use. The staff is so under trained it took 5 days and repeated calls on the local and corporate level to get my bill. No coffee available, no food available from the restaurant. The pantry offering were meager only 1 or 2 items. The staff tries but there is no management support or manager on shift half the time.

I was attending a Breast Cancer event for the weekend and stayed at this location from 10/22/2021 to 10/25/2021. The travel group that organizes the event uses/recommend this hotel for last several years. Pros: The front desk rep on Friday who checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location was ok, not too far from the airport and right off the airport. Cons: Throughout the weekend the group notice there was no hot water in the entire hotel the wholeeeeeeeeeeeee weekend (up until Monday 10/25/2021). My room smelled like mildew. The entire group had to keep asking for towels to be told there was no clean towels (one front desk lady tried to help, she informed us to bring down our old towels and she’ll try to work the washing machine) When I checked out of the hotel, I put all old towels were in a corner and the trash in a big trash bag, yet I got charged a $250 damage fee for the huge crack that was in the window from previous guest. I was back home when the charges came through but called and reached front desk agent Dannyelle Payne. I was very upset that I was charged for something I did not do but Dannyelle was far from professional!!! She asked me did I let the front desk know about the crack and my response was how was I supposed to know the hotel did not know they had a crack in their window!!! Dannyelle began talking over me stating we are not going to go back and forth, and she will not help me and will just give the General Manager Kathy my info. Within 30mins. Kathy called me and stated she are aware of the previous damage and will refund me my money back. I found out that the GM Kathy knew the window was broken for some time but still wanted to charge my account. This location need a whole new staff!!!

I expected more out of a Courtyard Marriott property. Pro: Friendly Housekeepers Cons: Cleanliness, Front Desk Staff, unsafe and poor location. I should have switched hotels, after switching rooms 3 times. I'm not picky about my rooms, just give me a clean room and bed to sleep in. These rooms either had dirty/stained bedding, smelled like smoke or door was left open. The hallway smelled like smoke and marijuana.
