Oysters are great. Love the wedge salad, the red onion & bacon pizza over the top. Always good service and knowledgeable bar tenders. Great atmosphere with the Pirate Bar decor saved from the Original at Andertons on Madison. A piece of Memphis History

This place seems uninterested in being in the restaurant business... wife and I tried to stop by for happy hour, and 2 huge dogs were in the bar area (we are dog lovers by the way), and bartender made no attempt to reign them in and seat us... good luck with this business model.

As close to a neighborhood dive bar ? as it gets. A cool ? refuge from the worries outside. Highly recommend.

Too loud for such a small venue. The staff are cool.

This place is laid back and chill, don't bring high energy nonsense here. The ambience is hauntingly pleasant, while the food and drinks are just right. It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be what it is and Memphis is midway on most of my road trips.. which this place will make a wonderful reprieve from stressful travelling. Don't ruin this place.

Would not recommend, the food is mediocre and the bartenders are rude and obnoxious. They just ignored us while we waited for our beers.I've seen a lot of reviews below echo how the bartenders suck and I feel the same.Would not recommend, would not go again ...mainly because of the bartenders..I hope management reads this

We really love this place- have been coming for years. Bacon and onion pizza is delish, stoner pie is a must, and the mermaid salad! Great drinks too- tonight we had Negronis. We honestly probably would have had 2 additional rounds tonight (don't judge) but they never came back after the first drink. Service has been spotty recently, hope it improves. But honestly, we'll probably keep coming back either way! Great spot.

Great drinks, especially if you love absinthe. I left my phone by accident and was able to get it back. Superb

My favorite place to go when I’m in town! I love the old Anderton’s decor! Wonderful cocktails and food! Reminds me of my childhood and the first time I tried raw oysters. They have something for everyone. Also great place to hear local talent!

One of our favorite bars! I love the stoner pie and the atmosphere. Dog friendly too which is great. Ample free parking which is also always a plus.

Great bar selection (green yellow chartreuse, Fernet, etc etc), great service and bartending, hilariously great rum and whiskey menu, and pretty good prices to boot. Cool decor, the bar is a boat lol. Very Pirate, much yar.

What horrible service from this place. The bartenders are uninterested and lazy , the food is insipid and bland. We also watched as one of the waiters purposefully refused service to customers with Valid Government issued ID ( a clear as day skin bias as they all looked 30+)

Came here based on the reviews. Was completely disappointed , the food was mediocre , the drinks watered down and the service absolutely lousy. The bartender without the glasses was rude and disrespectful. Would not recommend, would not go here again!
