Jackie Mae's is a great place to eat. The southern cooking is awesome. It reminded me of my grandmother's and mother's cooking. The chicken and dressing was delicious. Everyone was very friendly. Mrs. Jackie Mae herself came around and checked on everyone. If you get a chance, go to Jackie Mae's Southern Cooking.

The food was okay, I got the dressing, yams and greens. The dressing could've had a little more flavor but otherwise I enjoyed my meal.

The food is absolutely wonderful. The best part is a visit with Ms. Jackie Mae though. It feels like a step back in time when people went to the local restaurant to visit with friends and have a wonderful meal. Great place!

I was expecting one piece of catfish. Imagine my surprise when this plate arrived at my table. I was not disappointed. This was the best catfish I have eaten since having my great aunt Nell's catfish years ago! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I recommend this place and I will be back.

Jackie Mae's: A Soulful Symphony of Southern Comfort. Jackie Mae's isn't just a restaurant; it's a portal to grandma's kitchen, a warm hug on a cold day, and a symphony of soul food that sings on your tongue. The moment you walk in, the aroma of fried chicken and buttery cornbread envelops you like a cozy blanket, promising something delectable to come. My heart went straight for the baked chicken, and oh, how it didn't disappoint! The crispy skin crackled with every bite, revealing tender, juicy meat beneath that was seasoned to perfection. The flavors sang a complex melody - hints of garlic, rosemary, and paprika danced on my palate, each note perfectly harmonized. Every morsel was a testament to slow cooking and love poured into the pan. And let's not forget the cornbread. Flaky and golden brown on the outside, moist and crumbly on the inside, it was a textural masterpiece. Each bite was like a tiny cloud infused with the sweetness of corn and a subtle kiss of butter. It was the perfect partner to the savory richness of the chicken. Beyond the food, Jackie Mae's charm lies in its atmosphere. Yes, Jackie Mae's is an experience, not just a meal. It's a soulful celebration of comfort food, where every bite is a tribute to tradition and love. If you're looking for a taste of Southern hospitality and food that warms your belly and your heart, Jackie Mae's is the place to be.

What are the actual hours? Here at 11:30 on a Friday and not open. Was looking forward to taking a coworker here

My friend and I stopped in for Sunday supper. The owner greeted us as we came in, and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and she knew what had sold out before we ordered. This was a ? for me because I don't like having to re-select another dish when I am excited about the first order. The food was really good. My friend's spaghetti was cold and she was nice to reheat it but I suggest stirring it to make sure it is heated all the way through. I think I got the end of the dressing. There was not much chicken in my portion and I was jealous when I saw my friend's plate. She was kind enough to share her chicken with me.We will be back and I need to find out if they offer gluten-free items.
