It had been a very long day so came in after 9:00pm last night 07/31/23 to get a late dinner.The host at the front door was terrible. Not friendly, attentive nor was he happy to see me. Although there were very few people in the restaurant and there were other clean tables at the time, I still had to wait for him to clean me a table. Very strange..After I sat down, Nick came to take my drink order all smiles and was so friendly.He took my food order and let me know he would be doing side work for closing at 10:00 but, he was available if I needed anything. I know restaurant staff hate seeing customers come in so last and everyone is so ready to clean up and go home.Nick never rushed me, frowned or was unfriendly despite the fact that I was there at till closing time.My steak was the temperature I ordered, and the food was excellent.I never had to ask for a drink refill. Nick even made sure I had drinks to go before they dumped out the tea for the day.Nick's kindness and patience was appreciated.For my next vist I will definitely be sitting in Nick's section.

I do, Mamaw, granddaughter days for birthdays instead of buying gifts now. The first year I started this, I took my oldest granddaughter to the movies and to eat here. Since then, every year, when I ask what she wants to do, it is going to a movie and eating at this Longhorn. So last night we ate here. I asked her if her steak was good, and she said yes, it is so good it taste like it was sprinkled with fairy dust. She is now 9 and plans on this being s tradition for her birthday.

Had an awesome lunch yesterday. Kasey was our server and she was amazing. As an appetizer we had the Texas tonion, main entrees consisted of the 12 oz ribeye, loaded baked potato & side salad, 12 oz Parmesan crusted chicken, baked potato & side salad, last entree was the Longhorn Caesar salad with ranch on the side instead of the caesar dressing. Everything was cooked and fixed perfectly. I recommend this location as the restaurant was clean, service was great and the food was excellent.

My family and I eat here regularly. The last two times they have forgotten parts of our order. They don’t give us time to check it before they are back inside. While the food does taste good, we will not be back. I refuse to pay $80 and be missing multiple things on our order.

Do not order curb side pick up. You get your food when ever someone feels like bringing it out. I was notified that I would receive a text before they brought it out. it said it would be ready in 30 minutes. so in 30 minutes I got a text asking which parking spot I was in. So I was like great it will be on its way.....But....nope....it was almost another 30 minutes. and the parking spots filled up and they brought them out all at the same time. On a Good note the order was correct and the food was really great.

My last visit waitress was great at first but then later she was very slow it took over 45 minutes for our food and people that came in after us were eating when I asked about it I was told it's coming. I have been the few other times even when there was a wait and serve was awesome and food was cooked perfect. But last time food was over cooked

Typical overrated steakhouse.Visited again 7/11/23. Wanted quick small meal after movie. NEVER go here ! Small salad and soup. We're in restaurant at least an hour and a half. Our waiter was horrific. Talked to his friends at a table behind us most of the time he wasn't in kitchen. If it weren't for the receptionist we would probably still be there. My wife and I both told him what he did wrong. His response "Have a blessed day." Quite a stain on real Christians.

Apparently it all depends on what day and time of day you eat here determines how good it is. I'm glad I waited after my second visit to do this review. My first visit was about a month ago on a Saturday night around 6pm and everything was great. The second visit was this past Tuesday around 3:45pm. I got the same meal both times. The service was good but the food was not. The 8oz. sirloin had more fat than lean, the baked potato was about the size of a tennis ball, and the mac and cheese which I had to pay $3 extra for looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for a couple hours. What a difference in meals. To expensive to be like it was on Tuesday. I wish I hadn't went Tuesday.

Very rarely do I write a review, unless the restaurant is horrible. so in all fairness I felt compelled because our experience was nothing but great! The appetizer was amazing and our entree’s were delicious and perfectly cooked. But the highlight was our server. (Mason G) this young man was as good as I have seen. And we eat out 4 days a week. We will ask to be seated in his section every visit from now on. I told him it gave me hope seeing someone so young being so good at what they were doing. Definitely 5 star service!
The new home of Sslamming!2nd oldest restaurant still in operation in Hamblen County! Still has the old school diner feel!Smash burgers and bbq are all slammin!Very attentive staff, when you dine here your part of the family!

If you're looking for good food at a reasonable price then you would enjoy the Counter Cafe. It's a little neighborhood cafe, nothing fancy but the atmosphere was so homey. We had the mountain cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection and definitely not a frozen patty. We are looking forward to go back and try their breakfast menu.
