This establishment I can truly say, has some of the best authentic Mexican food one can ask for, on top of that they have there own butchery shop with in the store, I’ve been dining in this place with my parents over the past 3 years an I can confirm the food is out standingI recommend the fried talapia truly outstanding

The pico de gallo is perfectly fresh and always worth the wait. I wish they had more room for variety, but the sheer number of flavors of adobo spices and types of hot sauces were impressive.

Could be nicer inside but has a very authentic Mexico feel. It's clean just looks like it's straight outta Tiljuana. The food is amazingly good and very authentic. The salsas and hot Sauces are great!I had the loaded Fajitas with Beef Chicken and Shrimp. The Tortillas tasted like white corn tortillas. They gave ya 6 of them. The only complaint was the shrimp didn't seem too fresh. But I picked them out they were the only weak point. The flavors of the meats were excellent! The waitress worked her butt off. She did an awesome job.Overall I'd go back. Hard to find authentic Mexican food in EAST Tennesee.I think I'd just ask to leave out the shrimp. Oh and by the way when they bring out the Two bottles of hot sauce ones a green sauce that is amazing! The other one is the hot one. It's flavor is very good but it take a sec and instant fire mouth! If you like hot then that sauce is highly reccomended. If not you may want to avoid it and use the Verde sauce.Thank you La Superior for some excellent Mexican food.

This is a carniceria/restaurant combo. As a native Californian, my family has been dying for good, authentic Mexican food - not covered in melted white Velveeta called 'queso'. We found it!!! We make the 45 minute drive for the best pastor and barbacoa in East Tennessee. Great, fresh guacamole and amazing Horchata. Brush up on your Espanol, the staff are primarily Spanish speakers! And get a traditional bottle of Coke ... You'll love it.

got there, sat down, took them about 10 minutes to get to us, then as we were ordering our drinks after about another 10 minutes she comes brings our drinks and starts taking our order then after she gets done and walked away, all we see is a cockroach running across our table and i flicked it, after that we just got up and let them know. we didn’t even get our food yet either after waiting so long but i would leave a 1 star but they didn’t make us pay for our drinks

I'm always on the hunt for good, authentic Mexican food. This place is authentic, but good it's not. Greasy, salty and so much gristle in the meat it was hard to chew. We got food to go, and by the time we got home, an entire corner of the plastic bag the containers were in was full of grease. I guess it came from the quesadilla with al pastor as the entire tortilla was orange with it. The tacos only came with a single tortilla and were already breaking apart when we got home. The salsa was good and the staff were friendly (the only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1), but the food was so salty and so greasy, the majority ended up in the trash.

Worst Burrito ever. Beef was not just overcooked, it was inedible. I don't ever know how to describe it. At least the other diners could eat theirs.

Little hole in the wall place but man its soooo good. I love the food as well as the staff. Salsa had a nice kick without being overwhelming. Tacos have been perfect everytime. Doesn't get more authentic than this! Menu has English translations so do not be scared and prices are fair!
