Stopped in for a snack & drink to kill time before next appt. Decided against a margarita when waiter said it was $12. Cheapest drink tomake!! Everything on menu was dinners. I didn't want that much, tried to order plain taco off kids menu. That caused a scene, said I couldn't order off kids menu. Waiter sent the rude manager. Very unprofessional, said I would have to pay for my free chips & salsa. I wound up with a $6.31 bill for a coke & free chips & salsa!!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone & I certainly won't ever be back for sure. All this because I tried to order a plain taco!!!!!!!

While the food was good and obviously prepared fresh, and although more authentic than what you may find at 99% of the area Mexican restaurants, they have some serious obstacles to overcome. Examples: The menu is very limited. And while that might be a concern, the portions are meager at best and very non competively priced especially considering what you get. A very small wooden bowl sparcely filled with chips and a small bottle of salsa was surprising. But moreover the menu starting there would be a charge of $1.50 for more than one serving. An order for a street taco while tasty was $4 but came with nothing else. While this may be okay for an add on type thing it would make more sense from both a marketing and sales aspect to offer a plate with 2 st. tacos and a side of rice or beans for $9.95 rather than it be Ala carte and charge $2 or $3 for a side. The whole menu and environment (i.e. Poorly illuminated, Skulls/muertos and a chunk of a wall section with assorted cruifixes, etc. ) all needs serious reevaluation and overhaul. Unfortunately we couldn't recommend going back under such circumstances.

Everything about Memo's is on point! We've always had such an awesome experience with exceptionally delicious and fresh food. It's by far the best authentic Mexican food we've ever had! The cocktails are uniquely created and always refreshing. The restaurant is clean with a welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. Try it, you won't regret your visit! They rock it every time we do! Can't wait until next time!

The food is VERY SALTY, The pork is stringy and dry. The rice is very mushy. Literally the WORST food in Mount Juliet. I was told the pork was a "great choice." I wish that was true! The food is not fresh at all and they cover it up with salt to try to give it flavor. Disgusting!!! Don't eat here! *Also Restaurant can not take criticism, and the staff acts like children.*

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACEI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACEThe truth is that I am a person who does not like to give reviews but I was very disappointed in this restaurant in every way and my review is for them to improve.MealI ordered the quesabirrias, the truth is that for my palate they were delicious and I think it is the most delicious dish in this restaurant but I went with three other people and one of those people ordered the carnitas, another person ordered eggs with chorizo and the other person asked for it. rice since that person is a Vegetarian these people I was with complained too much about the food being salty and I couldn't believe it so I had to try all the dishes and the food was definitely very very saltyServiceThe truth is I'm not surprised by what I'm going to say because I read most of the reviews and they have complaints with their service because it is very terrible and even more so with the girl who serves because she is very abusive and annoying. At first, something friendly because I can't say that he was friendly, he didn't answer and I speak Spanish, so I asked the lady if she spoke Spanish and she said yes, so I asked her if she had Micheladas and she answered me in English and I stayed in shock when they answer me in English when I just asked her if she speaks Spanish and she indicated that she did speak Spanish but it wasn't so much that or bother because because I know English then they didn't serve our drinks and one of those people ordered cold tea and a lemon expired and it was horribly hard, which was told to the lady who served that they could change the lemon and she responded that they no longer had any more and that was the only one. When the waitress realized that we were not enjoying our lunch she started to be very abusive on top of what she was already doing very abusive. She went to talk to one of her bosses and someone came to ask us how our lunch was, so we told her that the food was very salty and inedible, no one ate, only I ate my quesabirrias. And the man who came to ask us how the food was told us that they were not going to charge us for the dishes, there were four dishes and they charged for two and he only ate one and I had never been to a restaurant in my life where they charge for spicy food Never ever in my lifeAnd apart from the bad Service, while I was finishing my meal, the abusive woman arrived to ask how much the bill was going to be divided when I hadn't even finished eating. They don't respect that you finish eating. That woman is abusive, I can't say any more words. from her because definitely how abusive it seems to me to be a lack of respect that we didn't even ask for the bill and she was already charging us when I hadn't even finished eating.AtmosphereThe restaurant and the theme are very nice and the only thing I can say is that it is a little darkAnd they still have the nerve to say it was because of an alcoholic drinkWhen this restaurant sucksI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACEI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Wow, how have I not been here until now. Came here on a recommendation of a friend and expectations were FAR exceeded. This is actual, legit Mexican food. Not your standard microwave Mexican at all. Server was amazing and knowledgeable. Had very detailed information on the menu that only someone who is passionate can relay. Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.
Once seated the service was fantastic and food was amazing. Miller greeted us promptly and continued to provide great service. The food was by far some of the best Mexican I’ve ever had. Everything was hot and fresh and delicious. My only complaint is the poor management. We were greeted when we walked in and told there was a 30-35 minute wait. We were warned about this by the person that recommended Memo’s but more than half the restaurant was empty. When I questioned that we were told half the restaurant is reserved for large parties. Ok, doesn’t seem financially beneficial but I can accept that is their choice. However, while we waited I watched the hostess run from the front door to having to bus tables. People would leave and she would go to clean the table and be interrupted 3 times by people coming before she could seat anyone. I felt sorry for her seeing the stress with every person that walked in and she told them about the wait and everyone commented on all the empty tables. Half of the people that walked in left because of the unnecessary wait. I leave this review just with the hopes that management will consider hiring additional staff. I would hate to see a great place not survive because of poor management.

Food was subpar for the price. They are unable to split checks for any part over 6. The biggest complaint I have was they asked us to leave because there was another party waiting. If they were busy I could understand that, but the restaurant was basically empty and there were other tables they could have pushed together for the other party. Will not be returning.
