Formerly Bonfire Grill, Fukutoku is a fresh and trendy take on Hibachi. The restaurant was completely renovated and updated to draw in a younger crowd. The sushi menu is wonderful and the service is great. There is a sports bar area with an anime inspired decore. A Habachi entertainment side, very family-friendly, but also a great spot to hang with friends or take a date. There is a private room available as well.

Their tonkotsu black ramen is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The sushi was great too, but I can't stop thinking about how good the ramen was.

Don't order gluten-free from here. The manager guaranteed cross contamination, and they made my food wrong.

We ordered hibachi and sushi to go and it was all delicious. My standards for hibachi are pretty high and this is the only place that has met my expectations in the area.

If you want to experience Japanese food for the first time here then don't. This place is far from actual Japanese food. Uses chicken wing meat with soggy crust for Karage, frozen Gyoza and sesame seed oil for everything. No Kikkoman soy sauce anywhere. Can't even cook fried rice properly, the only flavor you could get out of it was sesame seed oil, tried to eat it all but it got worse the more I ate. The teriyaki chicken dish was drowned in sauce which was horrible. The fish was drowned in the same sauce but the flavor of the fish was still there so it was edible. The people were nice although they spaced out all the dishes weirdly. Serving sizes were massive as well. Seems like the hibachi experience was the better option from the little I saw from our table.
The raw fish is really fresh and tasty. I ordered 2 rolls of maki (salmon & jalapeño, tuna and avocado), buns, and steak hibachi. All dishes were outstanding. The service was overall excellent.

My fiance and I came in right at 4pm. Our server was very kind and attentive. The walls are covered in anime memorabilia. Naruto playing on the big screen.I had the chicken broth Ramen with no fish cake. I enjoyed the layers of flavors and textures. I also had a melon soda.My fiance had the black broth Ramen. He said perfectly balanced flavors. We shared an appetizer of Xiou Long Bao. It was heavenly. The dough was steamed perfectly and the ratio of filling was superb. We had an amazing experience 10/10 would recommend.

Great atmosphere, great ramen, great sushi, Fokutoko has become the staple for lunch dates for the wife and I. I cannot recommend any other local MJ restaurants over Fokutoko.
I’ve been to several Hibachi restaurants and this was by far my favorite! The chefs were fun and extremely friendly. The steak was tender and all the apps were great!
