There were 4 of us and my meal (steak burrito) was the best, but was still only fair. Steak was good as was the cheese sauce but pico was bland and tortilla seemed slightly undercooked/doughy. My daughters both got enchiladas and the red sauce was not good at all. We really like Mexican food and so far only 1 of the 5 we have tried the past couple of months has been worth returning to. It's good but wanting to find a couple of more to give us some options and unfortunately Los Compadres won't be on that list.

As soon as you enter the place you feel a warm, cozy atmosphere since it is decorated as if you were in an old house in Mexico with very authentic details.From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us very kindly, happy and attentive to what we needed.I loved the dish “tacos al carbon”, the charro beans and a very delicious spicy red sauce.I will return to try the breakfasts ?

The best service I’ve had since my all-inclusive stay in Cozumel Mexico. Have you ever had waiters compete to meet your needs?This was my first time ever coming to this restaurant and I felt like the staff treated me like a regular customer. The place was clean, spacious, and the food was great. The waiters were attentive to our needs . This place is amazing. And the kicker is this—Friday night— is a busy night. Sadly, I’m accustomed to slow service from restaurants on a “busy” night. Los Compadres has proven that even a busy restaurant can run like a well oiled machine. Great experience!

This place goes above and beyond most Mexican food restaurants. Recently redecorated. We love the food - higher quality than your typical strip Mex Food with so many more options than combo numbers. The carnitas are our favorite - so tender and flavorful! The staff is always so pleasant. They greet us bring an extra salsa for our daughter without asking because they know us. Simple touches like this make the place special. It's our family favorite.
I was visiting, and I wanted to try a Mexican restaurant that served more than tacos. This place has an awesome decor, and the menu had great options. I had a molcajete of Carne asada and shrimp. Unfortunately, the meat was tough and lacked flavor. The shrimp was a bit better but definitely lacking taste. We also ordered a Carne asada and the meat was just as hard to cut. In addition, the potatoes were very undercooked. Our server did make a mistake in one of our orders but the staff was quick to correct it and bring out the correct dish. Overall a nice place that may need a revision to the seasoning and quality of their Carne asada.

11/03/2023: This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was very pleased with my whole dining experience. The atmosphere was bright, festive and very inviting. My Server(David V)was very patient with me when I told him this was my first time and I needed to read the menu completely. He didn't rush me at all even tho the dinner rush was beginning. I ordered a combo platter of 3 items and everything was absolutely delicious. The price was very reasonable as well. I will most definitely be going back soon and will be taking my daughter with me. I had to try it out before taking her because she's an unauthorized food critic. Lol. Love this place.
