The place is run of the mill seafood. Which isn’t a bad thing, however the staff isn’t very knowledgeable about seafood and doesn’t seem interested in learning. I was highly disappointed in my $22 order of just shrimp. They sell each order as a half pound. So if you order shrimp you receive 1/2lb of shrimp with 2 potatoes, one corn for $11.The food tastes great! However I ordered one pound of shrimp. Which means 2 half pound orders. 4 potatoes, 2 corn etc… when I got my food there was only 2 potatoes, one corn, and what I assumed was a questionable amount of shrimp for “1 pound” 15 actual shrimp in the bag. Not jumbo shrimp either. I didn’t have a pocket scale with me so I decided to not make any claims as to being shorted shrimp. I would return here because the food tastes good and I will just go with the knowledge to just order a half pound and not expect a lot of food.My family’s meals were okay, my daughter got the ramen noodles and didn’t like the taste but she’s quite choosy about flavors. We ordered calamari as an appetizer and it came out cold with a dipping sauce I have never encountered before with a pungent odor of B.O. my son liked the sauce ? but he was the only one.Spent around $130 on food and tip for 5 of us so not bad price.

We first walked in and were greeted with a smile. Friendly atmosphere, this place smells great!! Our server was new and very sweet. We order the fried calamari and (2) $35 Seafood Boil Bags. 5 mins go by and my date found a HAIR WRAPPED AROUND ONE OF HER CRAB LEGS! We spoke with the Manger and she DID NOT CARE AT ALL! It took her 10 mins to come to our table to addressed the issue. And when she got to us, she said “it MIGHT not be hair?”, “It MIGHT be seaweed?”, “This happens all the time!” She proceeded to talk and offer a 30% discount. NEVER ONCE! did she ask if my date would like a new one made or offer to make her something else to eat. I told her we didn’t want to be charged for her meal! (STILL WILLING TO PAY FOR THE APPETIZER AND THE SECOND BAG!) She immediately grab my dates’ plate and walked off. NEVER DID SHE APOLOGIZE OR TAKE FAULT FOR THIS NASTY SITUATION. She made us feel unheard and stupid.. There was no sense of URGENCY OR HOSPITALITY!! They didn’t know what to do next and gave us our check to be on our way. NOTHING like this has ever happen to us, so we decided to write this review hoping that they’ll see there’s a problem with Management and how this situation was handled.

Unbelievable experience and not in a good way. We thought we'd give this a try on a Sunday afternoon. Mistake!! Do not waste your money in this place, it's extremely pricy and they don't even pretend to serve you what you ordered. About 40 minutes after we ordered 2 lobster tails with lemon pepper sauce, our server hands us each a plastic bag with small curled up lobster tail in the bottom that had apparently been boiled in an extra spicy red Cajun sauce. I don't even want to go into the trouble we had getting the side items that came with the meal that they tried to charge us extra for. I've never experience anything so bad in my life. Go to McDonalds, it's way better.

I've been here many times over the years since they've opened. I never once had a bad experience but today I came in and it seemed off. The menus were new with new items and restructured seafood combo selection which made up wonder if management changed. We got the lemon pepper wings to start and combo C to share. The wings had a strange smell but tasted okay. The seafood was noticeably different. We ordered spicy but it barely even tasted like anything at all. Obviously being in TN, we don't expect to have fresh out of the water seafood but this was the first time the quality was bad, very obviously frozen for a while. The portions also felt smaller than usual. We always have leftovers to take home but we didn't have any this time. I'm not sure if it was just an off day or what but I wasn't completely satisfied.

I take myself out for my birthday and,I thought this was a good idea but when,I got the food home it didn’t have no taste to it plus it didn’t taste like it had no seasoning on it plus,I had gotten the big combo on the menu,I spent a lot of money on this ultimate combo and the money that,I spent,I thought it would be worth it but it was not worth what,I spent on it never again.I should of kept my money from buying this nasty tasting food from that place it wasn’t worth the money,I paid for it,I’m mad at myself for getting it.And the food did taste like rubber and it made me sick from eating that food,I got sick last night and still sick this morning from eating that food.

We easily found the restaurant and were seated promptly. The wait staff was exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance, complemented by great music, set a pleasant tone. The gyozas had a delightful homemade flavor. The takoyaki was not only a fantastic deal but also incredibly tasty. While the Tonkotsu Ramen had good flavor, it lacked the umami that would have elevated it to greatness. My wife enjoyed the Spicy Miso Ramen. Overall, we highly recommend this place; the experience and offerings are reasonable.

How have I not reviewed this place yet? Crab Fever is located at Stone Rivers Mall next to Chuck e Cheese. Parking can be a little challenging, but really you can just park anywhere at the mall and just walk there. I have been here multiple times since it's been open and also since it has changed ownership. The food is great here! We personally love the calamari, fries, and the seafood. Everything is made fresh and comes out hot. The service is great!
