I finally tried The Dapper Owl because I kept hearing how great it was but truth be told, I just don't get it. It was VERY expensive for what was offered. The hand pie was lukewarm and dried out as was the muffin. My wife got a London Fog that tasted more like milky water because the tea wasn't allowed to steep before the milk was added and my signature drink was basically an weak attempt at Cuban coffee. That all said, the staff was standoffish, but still nice and helpful and the place was extremely clean and well cared for.

Such a cool place!Atmosphere is awesome and 100% feels like a cozy little pub/nook to take a break in. Head barista/baker and service was incredibly friendly. She took the time to run us through some of their drinks. I got the Seasonal “Irish Goodbye” based on her recommendation and would make the drive out here again for that alone.Will definitely revisitDietary restrictions: Was willing to support Gluten free and dairy alternative creams

I was looking forward to trying this place out.When I arrived, it looked unassuming. No political affiliations on the outside and none on the Google photos either. Great!But once you walk in, you're greeted with their "flag". Can we not just have coffee and muffins without you shoving your LGBT altruism down everyone's throat?Just go down the street instead.

So the atmosphere is off the charts. And the staff is super friendly. Being a musician that’s writes and plays a lot this fits both niches. I can relax and write and work on music business. Great coffee, drink and food. And had its own thing going no other place has.Y’all do not need to sleep on this place. Music, Atmosphere, good food and drink and an awesome staff. Two Thumbs up..Dapper Owl is the new cool spot in Murfreesboro.
Would highly recommend the bonfire iced latte! Great bakery as well, with the usual coffee shop atmosphere!
