I decided to try them out yesterday and had thr ground beef Empanada. The texture was really good and the breading was a little greasy but still good. I would try again but would go for the chicken kind.

My first visit today and I am so happy I found this place! Brandon was my enthusiastic waiter who made an incredible Pina Colads, and Inenjoyed some replenished de papa and pulled Spanish pork that was moist and tender! Definitely earned a trip back… such a great experience!!

The food is super flavorful and is an exact palate of the Puerto Rican cuisine. The Cuban dishes were just as good. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something different. The desserts are amazing as well. A definite must! ❤️ Service was stellar as well. Thank you!

Awkward experience, the restaurant is located in Murfreesboro Axe throwing, but apparently they have changed things and do takeout or you can eat at the axe bar. It's hard to differentiate who is the Axe staff and the Empanada staff, seems like they also are still confused. Overall the experience was ok, my food was delicious, however my partner did not like her food. Would maybe be back.

We asked the Empanada Sonata to cater our son’s wedding, and I cannot express how wonderful and professional the entire team was to work with! The food was amazing! Everything was homemade and taste so good - literally everyone in attendance kept telling us how good everything was. These guys really went above and beyond to make it all special and I highly recommend them for any catering need…. And for a dinner out at the local restaurant.

This place is great. One of the best place to get Latin flavor in the city. I have tried fresh bite and a few others and they are just disappointing. As someone of Puerto rican decent, I know real Latin food, and while this place is a fusion spot, the Latin flavors are there. The mojo has that nice garlicky savory flavor to it, and the Cuban sandwich was delicious. Not a Miami Cubano, but still delicious. The empanada was delicious as well but a little more on the American/fusion side flavor wise in my opinion. Than again, I did get the mac and cheese empanada so that is probably my own doing lol. Overall would definitely recommend this spot. ?

This place is the real Cuban deal. I was absolutely impressed with the food, drinks, and service from this restaurant. Way better than the pizza joint here previously. It's \"upstairs\" from Murfreesboro Axe (walk in, small ramp to right that takes you back to the restaurant). The food is as authentic Cuban food as you can get stateside. It's delicious, full of flavor, and is served quickly. The empanadas are delectable and there's a rotating special of the day - give it a shot. Drinks are great and come with a heavy hand of liquor, which is a plus. Paloma was solid but you're in for a treat if you get the Cuban Old Fashioned. Best drink on the menu hands down. Service is impeccable. Every person we spoke with (entire staff) was friendly, courteous, cordial, and made it a lively experience. Never experienced that level of service anywhere before on the Square. Seriously my new favorite spot. Can't wait to go back.

I stopped by for lunch and I really enjoyed it! Brandon took my order and he was such a pleasure and provided great suggestions. I can't wait to try other things on the menu!

Wait is extremely long, the waiter was rude, they didn’t bring everything to the table and still charged for the things missing, don’t recommended

Seriously sad the axe throwing place has taken over the dining room of the Empanada Sonata, the atmosphere for dining was so much better before. Now they just have bar seating and a few tables on the sidewalk. The host was nice and the waitress was nice when she took our order, but when it was taking a while abs we asked her to check in it, she said "if it's not out in a few minutes I'll go check on it." We are currently at 15 minutes. Food arrived at about a total wait time of 17 minutes. The beef empanada were still really good, however my appetizer the plantains were over cooked and crunchy instead of a a nice outer crunch then a soft inside. I'm so bummed. This place was awesome when we first started coming here. I don't think we'll be back unless they change back their cooks and service.

I absolutely love their empanadas but today I tried their Cuban sandwich. it's better than any I've had except in Miami and so delicious!! Highly recommend carry out or delivery as food is packaged well.

The BEST empanadas that I've had in a long time. ???? Great food and beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and it was very fast service! I can't wait to go back again.
