The food is amazing! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in Murfreesboro. I highly recommend checking it out for a nice lunch or dinner.

My Husband and I had Five Senses cater our wedding. The food was not spectacular. We ordered catering for 120 people.(Appetizers, Entrees & Dessert) We only had about 25 guest show up. This is not something we were prepared for, and it definitely not a problem of the catering company, but considering we had already paid $6000 for the catering we thought they would send us home with the remaining food. Which we planned to share amongst our family and friends. We were sent home with nothing. I reached out to the restaurant with my concerns and they blatantly lied. They said they left food behind when the wedding planner said they didn’t leave any food because they didn’t have enough pans to leave the food. They then claimed they had a photo of someone taking food home on that day. I asked for the photo and it was my husband’s brother grabbing the left over Indian food from brunch earlier that day. Which was in two plastic trash bags, so not only did they refuse to rectify the situation they tried acting as if the two plastic trash bags was the 80 Entrees & desserts they left behind for us to take home. I was really disappointed in how unprofessional they handled this situation. I used to cater weddings myself and we ALWAYS left the remaining food with the bride and groom. This is a good place to stop for a Friday night dinner, but for wedding catering I don’t recommend.

Wife's birthday dinner with another couple. Food was great. Service was almost great. Atmosphere was great. We had cocktails, the crab dip and the whipped feta. Scallops, Blackened Redfish and Leg of Lamb. All three desserts. The strawberry tart was amazing. Take home some cornbread and the butter.Parking: Plenty of free parking.

We went to five senses just this past Friday for my wife's birthday and had a great time. Five senses came recommended to us through some friends and it didn't disappoint. They have a very cool open kitchen, unique menu with many tempting choices, Garrett our waiter was excellent, the food was phenomenal and it was great value for the kind of food they serve. We had the bacon wrapped quail which was delicious, it was like eating a campfire! I was so excited to eat my tomahawk pork chop I forgot to take the picture before I started hence the partially eaten picture (sorry). My wife's lamb was mouth watering as well. It's not quite a white table cloth place but certainly on the fancier side. The desert main didn't have much choice but my upsidedown cake was really good. The food was hot but the restaurant was a little chilly to my liking. Overall a great spot and we will be back!

Had the wagyu burger, which I thought was underwhelming. Good, but not great. I was expecting more. Also smaller than I expected. It came with steak fries, but not very many, which was actually fine with me.

"I would not return voluntarily"- commentary by my wife. This food is bad. I think this restaurant preys on unsuspecting locals by serving up mediocre dishes that come off as "exotic" to the unsophisticated, who are then simply so taken at the novelty of being served scallops, duck, filet mignon, polenta, potatoes au gratin and similar that they assume they must be good because they have no other experience with the dishes. They're not.It felt like amateur-hour with Costco-sourced ingredients that wouldn't surprise me were frozen and merely reheated. When I was served an alleged amuse-bouche consisting of a slice of sausage on a saltine cracker I considered it might be a camera-prank in which gas station foods were presented as haute cuisine from unsuspecting patrons to solicit laughs from viewers. The alleged tomato bisque was more of a chunky tomato soup without the requisite texture or cream of a bisque. An ice-cold chunk of shrimp was dropped dead-center in the already tepid soup.My red snapper was two chunks of whitish flesh that tasted like they were pulled out of a frozen bag and cooked without inspiration or any flourish. Next to it was a monstrosity of a polenta that appeared to have been rewarmed and wouldn't have surprised me if it was prepared elsewhere. A few green beans were unthoughtfully slapped on the side with no concept of plating. Dessert was similarly uninspired. At nearly $200 for the two of us I was floored that the place still managed to remain in business. I wouldn't voluntarily pay half that to eat there again, and struggle to think of as poor a dining experience I've had anywhere. Simply heading into Nashville or Franklin would give dozens upon dozens of far superior dining choices at that price, a worthy sojourn for someone in Murfreesboro looking for a special night out.

Anytime we are feeling that an elevated date night is due, we book ourselves a reservation at Five Senses.Their Monday night date night special (1 app, 2 entrees, 1 dessert for a set price) is the best not-so-secret deal in town for this quality of food and service. From the cornbread muffins to the variety of desserts on their seasonal menu - you would be hard pressed to leave here hungry or unhappy.Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian options!
