The staff was friendly and made ballon animals for my kiddos. Random but so cool! The Hibachi cook was fun and entertaining and cooked up some yummy hibachi for the kids. My husband and I shared three rolls and some sashimi. Fresh and well presented. Definitely family friendly!Kid-friendliness: Ballon animals, fun hibachi cooks and friendly service. Drinks come in plastic cups with lids and there are crayons and activity papers.

The atmosphere was good there, and their decor had a good authentic vibe.The food was good and the service was nice.It's kind of a smaller place, which is perfect for an upper scale lunch spot.I will be going back again.

Honestly, if I could give zero stars, I would. My fiancé and I wanted Hibachi, so we decided to go here. Big mistake. First off, they didn’t have any seats available for hibachi, so we just got a table and still ordered hibachi. Again, big mistake. We got shrimp with each of our plates, when I specifically said no shrimp for either of us. Our waitress brought chopsticks over and picked the piece of shrimp off our plates and apologized. Then I went to eat my steak, and it was super chewy and squishy. My fiancé ate a piece and thought it was weird, so she cut it in half with her fork and it was completely raw in the middle. So I cut a few more pieces and they were all raw. I was then disgusted because we didn’t order steak to be seared but completely raw. They offered to cook us new steak, but I was too disgusted to eat any more of my food. Places like this, who on a daily basis make steak, should probably know how long it takes to properly cook steak. If you really don’t know, check a piece. I would rather have my steak cut smaller or something like that, than eat it completely raw.

Went to dinner at Xiaos’ Hibachi in Murfreesboro, after an hour and barely seeing our waiter of waiting our food came out cold so we didn’t eat it other than the bites to realize it was cold and poorly cooked. When we brought up our concerns they proceeded to charge us 7.99 per side salad and 7.99 per side soup but removed the main meals… So essentially we paid for half the food by paying for the sides that came with the meal individually. When saying that it was ridiculous we were immediately threatened to have the cops called (by the manager). 0/10 experience, don’t waste your time on such a disrespectful and disgusting customer service experience. Never again. Short story we paid the 70 dollar bill and left, and half the people in line outside left due to our experience.

The sushi rolls were quite small for the price compared to others in town. It’s a bit dark inside and it smells a bit musty. The staff and service were exceptional and very kind.

We dined in on Sunday evening at 4:15pm. We had 2 adults and 1 child. The restaurant was not busy and we chose a table instead of hibachi. The part we were puzzled with was a service fee added to our bill of $10.83. It just stated “service fee”. We didnt understand why this was automatically added to our bill. I’m wondering if this is normal practice at this establishment? Food was really good, and sushi was very good and well presented. We did lack service in getting refills quickly and never offered again after check was dropped off even though we stayed for 30 more minutes enjoying conversation.

First time ordering and last time. The money I paid for this meal I shouldn't have had to throw it away. Steak and chicken hard and burnt. Shrimp overcooked, the veggies was not good at all. The lettuce was brown. I was not happy at all. I do not recommend this place.

Nice place. Food is excellent. Fish is fresh. Tons of sushi choices which are artfully plated and taste great. Bento boxes are tasty. Service is great and place is clean and has a nice ambiance. Kitchen entres are good too. Have not done the Hibachi experience yet.
