A great place to stop for lunch with an awesome beer selection. The wings were top notch. You could definitely bring your kids here and throw back a few to make your life a little more tolerable.

My husband & I and our two children have been to this restaurant over a dozen times over the years. Last Sunday, my sister and her husband joined us for lunch, making it a total of 6. Our children (6 & 8 years old) didn’t eat as they weren’t hungry. Upon getting our check we realized the server added gratuity. We were servers in college, we never leave less than 20% tip. Also it’s etiquette to inform the customer you are added gratuity since it’s often over looked and the server gets double tipped. Gratuity is often used when a server has a large table and does a lot of work and wants to make sure they are compensated. This servers didn’t do anything special and I’m pretty sure a food runner delivered our food. We had 4 entrees for 4 people and were out of there in maybe 30 minutes.I don’t know if she thought we were Nashville tourist that don’t tip but it’s incredibly offensive. The tip culture and poor service is getting out of hand.Nonetheless, we won’t be back anytime soon. I would not recommend this place.Medicore food and rude service.

super cool spot! unassumingly chill considered its on 12S but they have excellent service, reasonable prices, and great food! get a bloody mary, bleu potato wedges, and blackened tilapia tacos!! also keep an eye out for the daily drink specials like 2 for 1 beers on tuesday, $5 mules on wednesday, and $5 mimosas / $7 bloodys on sunday! worth noting that they have an extensive vegan / gluten free menu as well
They require you to pay for parking now by scanning a QR code and registering your car. Not worth it for an overpriced loud restaurant without fountain drinks.

Few things are as appreciated as great service after bad service. After a disastrous experience across the street at The Bottlecap (see my Yelp review) we found a much, much better answer in the 12 South Taproom. Despite the fact that we walked in as a group of 12 grumpy people right at last call for food and drinks, they extended the cut off long enough for us to get in a dinner order and a round of drinks. They took excellent care of us, fed us delicious food (love the Ceviche!), and generally made a crappy evening way, way better. The hard Kombucha is pretty dang tasty too. Thank you to the crew at 12 South Taproom working NYE 2023! You made our night!

We were sitting at the bar and had just received our food. A cockroach came walking across the bar around our plates. We knocked it to the floor and flagged down a server. As we were quietly telling him of the issue, another started crawling towards us. He grabbed it and said "well it's that time of year". They did comp our food but still... GROSS!!!!!
