Always the best spot in west Nashville. I love the tofu, panzanella, salad, meatballs, basically everything. Plus their Sunday meal service/pickup is so fun to buy and makes entertaining at home easy and impressive.Kid-friendliness: Has a kid menu and kind to kids

No idea how they had the trout ready in like five minutes, but it was delightful. Albondigas were ok.

Answer me this… why would you advertise you open at 4:30 yet when you walk in at 4:25 the bar is full and people already have drinks? We arrived at 4:26 and were told we couldn’t sit for happy hour until 5:30 at the earliest. I get it, it fills up fast, but at least open when you say you’re going to make it fair.

We come here all the time and love it. The food is impeccable every time, and the cocktails are delicious. We prefer to wait for a seat at the expansive bar top instead of making a reservation. At the bar top, you will be well taken care of by Lex and Logan. We also can’t speak highly enough of Victoria, one of the owners. She is always present, supporting her staff, and has an amazing memory for faces / names. Thank you for being a neighborhood gem!

Awesome restaurant, delicious food, great vibe and friendly staff. We picked up a Family Style Supper to heat up at home tonight and the process was so efficient, easy and most importantly the food was outstanding! I believe the owners themselves (Chris and Victoria) were present helping to get the orders out. They were so nice and friendly to us. We’ll keep coming back.

Great service good food, but nothing ground breaking. Fun vibe, tapas, wine bar-like, good portion sizes.

I am pregnant. I ordered a mocktail this evening while dining at “Answer”. Victoria, the owner, served my an alcoholic beverage by mistake. The waitress did not realize Victoria’s mistake until I had had ~4 sips of the alcoholic beverage. Instead of profusely apologizing, the owner, Victoria, offered a simple “sorry” and then later came to call me out at the end of the meal in front of my entire group for me leaving what she deemed was “not enough tip”. I explained that I felt the tip was appropriate for my experience and reminded her that tipping is up to the discretion of the patron. She then chastised me about her waitstaff relying on tips to survive. I explained that if this a concern for her, she should increase her prices and, therefore, pay her employees a livable wage or place a mandatory service fee on the bill. I again explained that the fact that she served me alcohol while I’m pregnant is a huge deal to me. While mistakes happen, she, nor anyone else, went out of their way to profusely apologize or try to make anything right about this humongous mistake. I explained that that is what drove my tip. Upon hearing this feedback, she showed little remorse and told me “lots of pregnant people drink alcohol here”. That is fine if women make the individual decision for themself and their child to drink alcohol during pregnancy, but as someone who has chosen to indulge in zero alcohol during my pregnancy, she took that decision away from me and now I have to always wonder if that impacted the health of my child. “Answer” was previously one of my favorite restaurants to dine in Nashville. However, I am just astounded at the owner, Victoria’s, attitude towards the seriousness of the entire situation and sincere lack of remorse. I will never dine at Answer again. I would urge others not to patronize this establishment anymore either.

Food is always amazing here. One of our favorite restaurants. We live close and visit frequently. Filet with hassle back potato is my favorite. Apple and rhubarb crisp are our favorite desserts.

My boyfriend and I made a 5:15 pm dining room reservation. Although we arrived a little early, we were seated right away. The server did an excellent job of explaining the menu and making recommendations. We started with the albondigas and arancini and two glasses of wine. Both were absolutely delicious, but we both agreed we could eat a whole plate of the arancini, so tasty! We then ordered entrees, I had the burger (medium) and my boyfriend had the chicken. He said the chicken was perfectly juicy and my burger was perfectly medium! We also both drank two glasses of wine each—their wine selection is obviously well thought out because both glasses complemented the food and were delicious. We finished off the meal with the blondie and caramel ice cream, also perfect. The service was excellent—I wish I had her name! She checked on us the right amount of times, always ensuring we had enough water and silverware and asking if we were ready to order. The atmosphere here feels young, modern, eclectic—the interior is beautiful! Also, I noticed the music wasn’t too loud, which is always appreciated. All in all, both myself and my boyfriend enjoyed our meal and found the pricing to be very reasonable for the quality of service, food, wine, and experience you’re going to receive at answer. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a fun and tasty date night!Parking: A few spaces in front of the building with plenty of free street parking on the block over (just be careful not to block anyone’s drive way!).

The only things I truly loved were the duck fat fries and the bourbon. Our server was very attentive and pleasant but the restaurant is on the smaller side and the table we were sat at was very tiny so we hardly had any room to sit comfortably. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and it was extremely dry. I had the spaghetti and the lemon was a little overpowering. Overall the food lacked in flavor. It was nice to try but I think this will be a one time try for us.Parking: Prepare to walk some since the parking lot for this restaurant is also tiny. During their busier dinner hours it’s impossible to find decent or close parking.

This place is the cutest little neighborhood bar/restaurant. The happy hour is an absolute deal and their dinner menu has something for everyone. Our server was fantastic at recommending food for everyone at the table. Overall a great spot and I highly recommend
