This place used to be soooo good! Drove over an hour just to visit. Now, after a few visits it seems to have gone down hill. Prices up, but food quality is down. I don't know if it's because it's busier and she can't keep up so the quality suffers or what. For some reason, our to-go orders don't have the same food as our eat-in orders. I miss the days when her food came out perfect every time. Now the flavor is different each time and sometimes she doesn't have doro wat, which was always on the menu. This usually says to me that it takes too long to make and I don't have time. That's never a good sign. Hopefully, she can can get her groove back. For now, we have to start looking elsewhere.Parking: Very limited parking.

I discovered this restaurant through word of mouth, recommended by someone from Ethiopia. After a challenging exam, I decided to treat myself and I'm glad I did. The setting is humble, offering two options: meat or veggies. We opted for the meat option, but next time I'll definitely try the veggies.

This place was unlike anything I have ever been to before. The place is in a very sketchy location adjacent to a gas station, however this was not the issue. There is one little old lady working there alone. She brought us out a $60 dollar tray of food without us ordering. The meet was decent but most of the meal was either microwaved or pre prepared. She also was playing some strange children's cartoon in front of us even though there was no kids in sight. In addition to this, there was a dirty napkin on the table when we walked in. Still waiting to see if get sick. Stay far away for your safety.

I dined at Awash Ethiopian Restaurant several times and was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the owner. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect tone for a delightful meal. Now, onto the food - wow! Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether it was the "tibs", or the veggie combo, each bite was a true delight to the senses. What truly sets Awash apart is their exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.Overall, I can't recommend Awash enough. If you're looking for delicious Ethiopian food paired with outstanding service, look no further. I can't wait to visit again!

Thr food was good but lentils super spicy. She only asked meat or vegetarian. We picked vegetarian and the price was 15.99. When we went to pay she double charged us. Beware of this place. Read other reviews. Shes overcharging ppl!!!
