We'll be back! Has some vegan options - I love the red curry at the Assembly location so I tried the pad phet here, it was awesome! The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed dining in the covered outdoors area.

Very disappointing overall. No presence herbs or spices in anything! Thai cuisine is supposed to be spicy, aromatic, and packed with flavor. The fresh rolls contained no crunchy component like sprouts or carrots. No herbs. The hoisin dipping sauce tasted very sour like it had expired. The tom yum soup was severely lacking acidity, not to mention that the shrimp it contained were so overcooked that they had become inedibly rubbery. The worst dish had to be the drunken noodles- the vegetables were practically raw. It was if they had been quickly steamed and then placed on top of some plain noodles. Hardly any trace of seasoning anywhere. I cannot believe anyone in that kitchen thought it was okay to send out that dish, especially for $16.Considering that there are SO many other Thai options for the same price point who offer larger portions, I won’t be back.

Nice staff and great location, I remember when it used to be a burger up. Lots of potential for this place but unfortunately the food was not good.If they get someone in there with actual cooking experience then I'll give it another shot, we ended up throwing away most of the meal.

Thai Esane is MUCH better than the hyped Degthai. Better food and atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

I ordered some Pad Thai the other night, it's one of my favorite noodle dishes and it was so dry and just all around not very tasty! The amount of food they give is also very small portions compared to everywhere else. I eat at a lot of different Thai restaurants around town and by far they give the smallest portions and are one of the more pricey places.

Used to go to the Thai Esane on the west side and it was legit, always hit the spot and never disappointed. Just ordered take out from the new East Nashty location and it was garbage - chicken pad thai was dry and tasted chalky. Not even sure wtf I was eating? Drunken noodles were better than the Pad Thai but was still trash. Bring that cook over from the west side and step your game up Thai Esane East.

Delicious takeout! I can't vouch for service, or dine-in, but I've ordered takeout twice, and my expectations were met both times.

I've heard so many good this about this restaurant and was excited to see a location in East. We picked up a to go order on a week night. The order was ready in about 30 minutes which was great. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful and the person who greeted me was very kind. But, the food was not good. The chicken satay was hard and dry, the ramen we ordered was actually pho and was band. I couldn't recommend any of the four dishes we ordered. Maybe we caught them on a bad night or they are still finding their feet (?).
