Good German food with great selection of German beers. The sausage plate was superb with German potato salad and red cabbage. Was more than enough for two to share. Staff members were friendly and accommodating.

We wanted a good German restaurant since we were passing through for the day from seeing the total eclipse in Indiana. The waiter was very good and did his best to accomodate our questions. I had the pork shnitzel with potato pancakes. The pork was ok but i've had better potato pancakes. Ithink the pancakes had a little too much flour and not enough onion so they were kind of dry and a little burnt around the edges which means the griddle was a little too hot. I've been making potato pancakes since I was 12 since I learned from my polish mother. So, the food was just ok, the beer was excellent. And the price for just lunch was $60 plus tip. Way over priced. Also the bench seats were like sitting in a puritan church pew. Very uncomfortable.

We were walking out of the Grand Ole Opry, hungry with no idea where we were, what was around to eat and confused by all the taxis and people milling about trying to leave. We cut through the mall, and started walking when we saw a sign. WILLKOMMEN! Well, we sure felt it. We have never had authentic German food before, but we were so impressed we took some home for the next day. The beer was great, the atmosphere was very authentic, and the food was hearty and delicious. Our server was a pleasure. His humor and enthusiasm for the restaurant was awesome. We are hoping to have another excuse to step inside this very Willkomming Bierhause!EINDRUCKSVOLL !

We had 2 beers (1 big and 1 small) and 2 bowls of soup and 2 sides and it was 90 dollars, that is so expensive we didnt even have an entree. Our family is German and I have traveled there and eaten many many German meals and the Brochen was not, it was packaged stale American dinner rolls, the Blaukraut was out of a can unseasoned. Soup was fine but not really German. French Onion soup with pretzel for croutons. German potato salad was out of refrigerator and cold and poorly seasoned and should be warm with a sweet vinegar bacon dressing so really disappointing food. Service was good and atmosphere was fine and beer was tastey, just sub par food. Not at all Vegan friendly and very few vegetarian options.

Holy Pork Shanks!! The portions are huge. The Rouladen was amazing. Service was great. We ate early because we were going to a show but would love to be there next time the band is playing. Will definitely be back!
