When arriving I found myself at the all toooo high of a bar for anyone to actually enjoy (thus I sat Indian style the whole time….numb feet by the end). Not sure who the bartender was bc she never told me her name. I ordered an Italian Chianti which come to find out was not available so the Chef (I only know it was the chef bc I researched before arriving since it was my first visit) approached with “his favorite” Syrah from California. Hmmmm Italian wines and California wines are not the same “I’ll offer it to you for $40 when it’s usually $120 in our list …. So I googled it $45. I also had to ask for water and even ask for bread Once the bread arrived I looked at the plate and noticed a lengthy brown hair, I then pushed it aside and let the bartender know. She did pour the first glass of wine never topped off and only refilled water on request. I ordered the Filet which I’m sure would’ve tasted good had it of not been over powered by the rosemary throughout the dish. A steak knife would have been helpful too. I know it’s a filet but a butter knife doesn’t do the trick. Also don’t be scared of salt and pepper, it would’ve helped the dish immensely. The whole visit I was thinking “I should’ve gone to Sperrys” At the end of my visit another guest came in for some Togo food. She asked him what he wanted and his response was “I need to look at the menu first” come on girl how do you not know the basics. She then asked if she could cash me out and stated that the owner would still be here. What the heck, how is this ok ?!?!?Service was awful and that’s coming from someone who is in the industry and loves it. Hopefully things can get better for future guests

Terrible experience.I made reservations two weeks in advance for my wife's birthday. We were seated quickly and it went down hill from there. It was our servers first day and no one was willing to help her. She could not answer questions that were asked about the menus items and my menu was missing a page. I was not offered another, she said some of them were that way. We were left with empty drink glasses and our sides arrived thirty minutes before our proteins . The server forgot to turn in the order for the chicken and the shrimp. The overall quality of this business has dropped since opening.I'm probably not going back.

I arrived around 11:30 today, Sunday. Trying to beat the church crowd. There were maybe eight other customers sitting when we arrived. It didn't matter. Still took about an hour and 15 minutes to get the food. When we did receive the food, the toast was burnt and the steak was undercooked. I have no idea what they are doing in that kitchen. The eggs benedict had very little taste. The potatoes were dry. I really hope they get this place under control because it's a great location and we need some good food in this area.

waited for more than 2 and a half hours for our dinner. left without eating main course. They were under staffed with people calling out. The thing that bothered me was owner, owner's wife, came by in first hour and let us know they were slow but never came back. We were one of four tables that had been there over 2 hours and still had not received their food. one waitress working came by our table and told us 4 or 5 more minutes at the 2 hour mark. we gave up and left after 30 more minutes. 7pm reservation left at 9:38. no other options open. so much for a nice dinner with my wife before heading out of town 2 weeks for work. Do better but you won't get a second chance with me.

Food was very very good but the prices were high. The bartender on Valentine’s Day was super rude. We tried to order a drink while we waited for our table and he refused to acknowledge us. Not even a “be with you in a minute”. Our waiter was very nice though.

Great service, wonderful food. Shared the Meatball Salad, Sweet and Sassy pizza and Olive Oil Cake. Ok forward to going back. Dined in for lunch at the end of their second week of lunch service and the place was very busy but service was personal and relaxed.

For Valentine’s Day this place got way overbooked due to a glitch in their reservation systems (not the fault of the wait/host staff). For how insanely overbooked and crazy busy the night was, the food was delicious and the service was still great! The host, servers, and managers were all extremely kind. My steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and both the fried green tomatoes and meatballs were delicious apps. Also loved the thousand layer cannoli dessert. The menu is unique and it’s a fun change of pace for eating out in Nashville. Yes it’s pricey, but the food is very filling and tasty! Definitely worth a try, excited to try for brunch and lunch ?

I'll start by saying we have eaten at Cafe100 several times prior to writing this review and each of those nights (which weren't holidays) the food, service, everything was phenomenal. But last nights meal was so bad, its completely changed our minds on how we feel about this restaurant. We booked reservations for valentines dinner weeks prior to. The last time we ate at the restaurant they sat us at the chef's table which overlooked the kitchen and being the foodies we are, we loved having the view of the kitchen and the added privacy of that area so when we made reservations we specifically requested and even called the restaurant and confirmed they had our reservation and that we would be at the chef's table. The night of, we arrive at the restaurant at 6:15, 15 minutes prior to our reservations. We're told the table isn't ready yet but they have us checked in and we take 5 steps over to the bar area and each grab a cocktail and wait there...for over an hour... A little after 7:30, we see the couple who had been sitting at the chef's table pay out and leave so we ask for our check at the bar in anticipation of finally being seated. Then we see someone else seated at that table. We make eye contact with the hostess and she immediately apologizes and says she will get us at the next available table. We're sat at a table in the main dining room which is packed, so we now are starving, its been an hour past time for our reservations and we're at a table that's packed in between others where all of us can hear one another's conversations. We order a bottle of wine and as soon as the waiter is ready to take our order we each give our full order from the Valentines prix-fixe menu and are hoping this night turns around. The bread was fantastic, the wine was great, the whipped ricotta was amazing, and everything else that followed was absolutely terrible. The bruschetta was all charred red onion, which again, this is Valentines Day, a mouth full of red onion isn't what we're going for. Fairly certain they had run out of romaine lettuce and the Caesar salad was just a bowl of radicchio, which had a bunch of the hearts in it, no croutons, no added anything, just radicchio and was just inedible. Then the entrees, I ordered the aglio e olio with chicken and my fiancé ordered the salmon. The salmon tasted and had texture like it was frozen and then overcooked. It was very dry and bland. For the aglio e olio, was told they had run out of chicken so I opted for shrimp. Once again, I'm pretty sure they ran out of spaghetti, which is what aglio e olio is traditionally made with, and they brought out a version with bucatini, which was a first for me. The pasta was so undercooked that for the rest of the night I was picking out dried pasta from my teeth. At this point its nine o'clock, and we're just ready to go home. So we ask for the desserts to be boxed up, they did bring us a complimentary glass of champagne which was lovely and they discounted the pasta by 40%. It was just a 100% let down. We both were so excited for our meal and the experience and couldn't have been let down more. Again, we have been before and everything was fantastic. I feel like they could have done two seating times and they would have been able to pull off an amazing night for all. Instead they tried to do too much with 3 seating's and it was a disaster. My bill by the end, with discounted food, was still $220. For $220 for two people, you can get a whole heck of a lot better of an experience at a number of other restaurants in Nashville. If you're looking at eating here, do it on a normal night, not a holiday. Absolute disaster of an evening and we couldn't have been more disappointed.

We waited 45 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. The service was then slow. They ran out of bread, so we didn't get any. We ordered wine which they brought after our appetizers so we couldn't have wine with them. The food was okay, though the dessert was dry and we didn't eat it. Overall, it was very poorly managed the night we went and the food was just okay, not nearly good enough to make the it worth the bad service and management. I can't recommend and likely won't return. Super disappointed.

Amazing restaurant! Will dine here again. We got to seat at the high top tables in the “Chef's Corner,” and were able to see into the kitchen. Made it cozy yet fun to experience!

The food was amazing and the server was attentive. The dining crowd was a mix of families with kids and babies, as well as younger and mature people. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the experience very much.

What a friendly restaurant!! it has a cozy atmosphere, and a great vibe. Everything was delicious starting from the bread to the appetizers to the main courses. The staff was very professional and knowledgable. Can't wait to go again.!

The waiters & waitresses we encountered during our visit were kind and wonderful, but the food was not. Our pasta was like a chewy, spicy salt lick, and the dessert (cake & more cake, but shaped like a donut & sold as such) was dry, flavorless & had a store-bought like quality. We were shocked and could not stop laughing at what we were being charged for our dinner when the bill came!We had such high hopes for this spot, but we will not be returning. We barely ate the food we did order, and threw away the leftovers as soon as we got home.

Many items (5 entrees) not available or sold out. Time for food order was exceptionally long due to them needing time to flat out burn a $46 pork chop ordered mid-well. Pasta over-cooked as well in the shrimp scampi. Maple salmon ordered by two people at table and one ordered medium and the other well done and we blind tested with another person and they couldn't tell the difference on the cook. Brussels sprouts were the best thing on the menu but a side order consisted of about 8 halves so splitting is not really an option. Really surprised by the reviews this place has received as they were way off the mark and don't know how to cook to order.
