Great food, and amazing coffee. Very relaxed, low key atmosphere. Went for breakfast, to meet a business associate and can't wait to go back. The service was a little slow, but it's hard to provide a low key relaxed atmosphere, and provide super speedy service. All in all, no complaints. Truly a hidden gem of Nashville.

Absolutely delicious egg bowl. It came with scrambled or poached eggs. I ordered it with poached eggs, which were fluffy and light with just the right amount of oozing yolk once broken. The kale was very tasty and not bitter, bulgar wheat was a nice addition, and there was a delicious, lightly lemony-flavored yogurt under the eggs. Mix it up gently and flavor up! It was also a work of art.

I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed Cafe Roze yet. This is a neighborhood gem! It's everything you could ever want in a restaurant. They are delivering top quality, fresh, interesting food on a regular basis. Their avocado hummus, you've never had anything this good. I think about it all the time. The oyster happy hour, lovely. Today I had their savory oats for breakfast and it blew my mind. You would expect grits, but it's oatmeal cooked in maybe chicken broth or something else savory. Folded into the oatmeal are mushrooms, maybe shiitake, with an acid flavor. On top there is kale, a poached egg, avocado (extra), and tomogasio which felt like a Japanese everything bagel seasoning. I ate the whole bowl and they do not skimp! It's bowl licking worthy. I washed it down with their turmeric soda. That's what kind of vibe Cafe Roze is delivering - healthy, delicious, clean, and compelling food.

This place was undeniable. We were given this place as a recommendation and man, oh man, this place delivered. Maybe some of the most knowledgeable people behind the bar I’ve ever met. James is extraordinary. Watching him make our drinks is like watching a true master of their craft. I was in awe, I’m not even joking. It was a sublime experience. Also, special shout out to Jules who was an amazing supporting player in our drink making tonight.Seriously, kudos all around. Go here if you get the chance.

Omg. I'm still sitting in the restaurant and couldn't help myself. It's a good thing I don't live in East cause I might come here everyday and eat the same meal. Came here on a whim - no one has ever really suggested Cafe Roze (I don't know why), so I had no expectations. Started with a cocktail, the Daisy Chain, which the bartender sweetened up for me just a tad and it was perfect. After waffling between the Paprika Chicken and the Halibut, I got the Paprika Chicken and I'm so glad I did. We do not put enough respeck on paprika's name. I love paprika. And dang this chicken was good. So tender, so juicy. It is bone-in, but please do not let that deter you. I mean I picked up the bones like a weirdo and nibbled them like a chicken wing cause I wasn't letting it go to waste. Also saved a piece of that skin for last and hooooooly. Great idea. Even the kale and potatoes and whatever else was on the plate was dressed so well and tasted amazing. Ambiance is cozy and relaxing. I felt no pressure dining at the bar alone. Anyway. Just had to tell everyone. Come try it!

Obsessed! We found this place half expecting it to just be a diner. It is so much more! Food was stellar, atmosphere is fun. Amazing healthy choices.

The service was good. Food was overpriced but good. The really bad part of the evening was when we were done eating and they told us they couldn't separate the checks of 10 people. Perhaps they should have told us that ahead of time. Most people don't carry cash. Some people don't use venmo. Someone always ends up losing and paying more this way; the one who puts the credit card down. I spoke with the Manager and though sympathetic said it had to be one check. Not a great practice to have. We had a reservation so you should have mentioned that up front or at least when we sat down and you took our order. I doubt if we will go back.
The place was super cute and in a part of town that I thought was cute as well. The food was ok. Nothing out of this world. But the vibe was nice.

I had the Pork Snitchzel which was very good, a dessert with White chocolate bits and a Cappuccino to top it all off. Service was great at the bar during busy happy hours. Parking wasn't too bad. I will hopefully visit this Cafe again in the morning hours to try the Stout Waffle.
