I made the reservation on Open Table and received reminders, and I confirmed before going. However the restaurant had closed down...as in not open at all. There was a sign on the door -- "we're sorry." I understand these have been very hard times for restaurants, but I shouldnt have been able to make a reservation in the first place!

We were not notified by Chaatable or Open Table that the restaurant closed. The only way we knew that the restaurant was no longer operational is because we are local and saw a story on a local news channel. We were still getting reminders about our reservation up until the time of the reservation and, as evidenced by this survey, even follow up from Open Table. It's a shame because we loved Chaatable and Masala Ale House but now are soured on Maneet's restaurants based on the poor handling of this restaurant closure.

We experienced a flavor explosion unlike anything we've tried before! It was so good! Highly recommend the bhel on the appetizer menu. Could have easily had that for an entree. I've never been disappointed in any of Maneet's restaurants, but I think this is my favorite. Affordable, not pretentious and so, so yummy!

The ambiance is very good. Great detail to the interior work. The decors inside represents north-side culture of India. Many Bollywood movie posters are on the walls.Food is good and served quickly. The details in the food are good. Some of the food looks like the street style including the taste. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is served in the steel boxes and steel plates.A good place for hanging out with friends and eating some tasty north indian food.

Great place for a date night with my wife. We ordered one delicious small plate at a time, 4 in total, and took our time. Stand outs were the fried chicken, plantain nachos, samosas and paneer.

People were reading just for the view I would say if you’re an Indian then I do not recommend this place because you can make Better Indian Street Food at home or can try at any other restaurant than this place. if you’re here to try some Indian stuff then feel free to try the place with some ambiance.I was here in Nashville for the first time and it was highly recommended to so we made reservation in advance. but when we actually went in, they gave us a seat that is in the corner of the whole restaurant where it is not even decorated with no ambience and nothing it looks like they were just overbooked and they placed additional table and a chair to accommodate you and that truly took me off. It doesn’t stop here actually after asking for change in the table they asked us to wait for another 15 to 20 minutes. After waiting for 20 minutes we sat on the table we asked for the property chat and they said that they ran out papdi. We asked for Pani puri and they got us pani puri and pani had no boondi in it. And when I asked like there’s barely any stuff and the boondi not there in the water and they said that Ran out of it.Then we decided to go for Desi bhel and asked how is that and our server told us that it is really good with allt of flavor of mango and pomegranate. But actually when we got there Hadley four pieces of mango and four pieces of pomegranate and surprisingly I didn’t get any better answer and then we asked it’s just like four pieces how are you getting flavor in it and he said that we ran out of fruit. We ordered chili paneer…. Thats was The best thing be ordered on that day and it was really good. the only thing that I recommend there. We ordered vegetable tali for the entrée. I definitely do not recommend it. We got cauliflower which was supposed to be baked or fried but it had no flavor in it and it was burnt on one side. They had white chickpeas in the vegetable and when I asked the server that these are not chickpeas they said they ran out of chickpeas so they used to substitute. On Menu Thali said that they have papadum, but guess what—- they did not have papad and so they are serving khakhra.. and being an Indian I very well know difference between the two. Also I asked for Maggie noodles because I read really good reviews online about it—— but with no surprise—- they were out of it.I’m not sure if they are really running a business as 90% things that I asked from the menu was not available.I will never go back there to waste my time.

The atmosphere was really nice and the servers were great, but the bigger plates are $25 for smaller portions compared to other Indian restaurants... The Chaata was a good price and tasted really good but for a full meal, I wouldn't recommend this over other places in the area.

Ambience is very vibrant. Our server was very helpful and answered all our questions. However, the items that we ordered did not meet our expectations in terms of flavor and taste. In particular, chaat items ( paani puri and samosa chat). Taali was okay.

This visit was three years in the planning due to Covid. We decided to hell with it and we would just get a table in the last hour they were open and hoped for not many tables.....jackpot! We walked in at 9:15pm for our 9:30pm reservation and there were only two tables and they were both finishing up. We closed down the place as the only table there which worked well for us. The food was amazing! We had the Crispy Okra Chaat, Shrimp Pakora and Desi Bhel to start. The shrimp with the mint chutney was a highlight. The okra was interesting and good however was a bit more on the spicey side. The Desi Bhel again was interesting however seemed like a hot mess of a dish. It was like there were little crackers on the bottom but so much stuff piled on top that it became lost. I think that one would be better as a bite size item personally. We then had Thali. We both chose the tandoori chicken then I had the butter curry and he had a spicy red one. Both were great! We also had the shermaal and maska pau. The shermaal seemed a bit under cooked but the maska pau was great but eat all that first as it is out of this world when hot but fell a little flat when it cooled off. We would for sure make another visit here next time we are in town.

The staff is excellent. Very polite and extremely helpful when it came to selecting dishes to order and beverages that paired well with them. Great ethnical vibe with the decor and music. The only little hit would be the tables could use a coat of paint. There were a few that looked a little distressed

Hadn't been here in a couple years due to Covid Etc. We remembered liking it a lot, but were blown away last night at how good EVERYTHING was. Had the crispy okra Chaat, so simple yet delicious, Puchka, Dahi Puri, Shammi Sliders, Salmon Thali with Cashew Curry, Sheermal, and some awesome cocktails. There was not a single item that we did not love. We will NOT wait so long to return!

AMAZING Indian food! The server was helpful to explain everything and what her favorites were. The food didn't take long at all, you get generous portions, and everything was beyond good. The best leftovers you'll ever have!

If you eat with your eyes as well as your tastebuds, it's a feast for the senses. The colors of Chaatable evoke a tasteful street market. Dishes are beautifully presented, and patient wait staff will explain how to combine the flavors. Drinks here are stunning. The gin concoction I ordered had a peppery undertone of grated ginger and lemon. It was garnished with an orchid. The only disappointment was that the beer taps were not working when we went. My husband, a craft beer enthusiast, was looking forward to sampling some of the Mantra beers we had enjoyed at Chauhan, Maneet's original restaurant.

Maneet's recipes provide and absolute firework explosion of flavors (see her on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives). Her food is so unique, so bountiful with various spices, herbs, seasoning, it spoils you! The atmosphere is eclectic, of Indian inspiration, pleasant, with bold colors and interesting decor. The service was fun, Knowledgeable and fast. But...those food and drinks are to-die-for. We had the lamb sliders, the puchkas, shrimp kebabs, and Chili Paneer. My mouth is still watering just typing this review.

This is a top-notch restaurant. Carefully curated menu, well crafted recipes, farm to table quality food and artistic decor that brings Indian culinary experience to Nashville in its own unique style. It’s not trying to copy any other style but create its own identity and I’m here for it.I love all the items from the chaat and appetizers sections. They do have an updated menu now — and I must say I dearly miss vada pav and pav bhaji. I don’t know why they stopped serving them. I’d love to see them again on the menu someday.Highly recommend!
