Once again Chateau West is truly the best in every way!!! Any and everything we have ever ordered there have been sheer perfection! Mussels, French Onion Soup, and Chateaubriand were abundant and beyond scrumptious!! The service is every bit as wonderful as the delectable food! Thank you Chateau West for a night to remember!!

Celebrating our anniversary with friends. The service, the meals and the desserts were all excellent. This has become one of our very favorite places for a really nice dinner. I fully recommend Chateau West!

An evening at Chateau West is always a great idea! Irhan is always so welcoming and kind. The food is always delicious and well served. We have literally never had a bad meal here—and often have had magical meals!

Everything about our dining experience was great except the prices. We felt to prices were a bit high for the quantities and cost of the selections we chose. We will probably continue to dine at our other favorite spots which we do often.

This was our 37th wedding anniversary dinner. We had a wonderful time. Food was delightful, service was fantastic. We enjoyed a top shelf evening without the fight for parking in downtown Nashville. As locals, Chsteau West is a win! And, we will be back.

Ok, I love French food and have been to many so I may be a little more critical than other reviews on this place. I like the look of the unique architecture of the building and the interior design is fine, if maybe a little much with the French imagery. The food. The menu is comprised of mainly the most well-known French dishes. My wife had the Beef Bourguignon, which was good. The beef was fork tender and the sauce was savory and rich. She also got the polenta on the side, which was excellent. I would have liked to seen this dish served over polenta, potatoes or a puree, which is customary. I had the Bouillabaisse Marseillaise. The broth was the highlight, as both the shrimp and lobster were both pretty overcooked. Especially the lobster which came out curled and rubbery. However, I still like the flavors , although a little red pepper flake would be a welcome addition to the broth as it had zero spice. At all. The Escargot was respectable but the complementary bread served was excellent and probably the most authentically French thing on the table. Crusty on the outside with a soft and pillowy interior. They even gave us two loaves to take home as it was near closing when we left. The service was as good as I've ever seen. Attentive and charming waiter brought my wife a caramel lava cake when he found out it was her birthday. 10/10 service reminiscence of a much more expensive restaurant. Overall, I will say this. Is it the best French food I've ever had, no. Is it really good French food for its price point, absolutely. The whole meal was just under $100 (no wine), for a birthday dinner I consider that pretty good as I've spent 4x that much in other French bistros. If you're looking for decent French food in Nashville that's not going to break the bank, you could do a lot worse. And you could definitely get worse service. 3.9/5 or 7.7/10

Nashville native here and Chateau West is one of my favorite restaurants in town and a go-to date night place. You may hear about a newer French restaurant in town that promises to transport you to a quaint bistro on the Champs-Elysees. Well, let me save you some time, gas and heartache. Make your reservation at Chateau West. We've never had a bad meal, the service is on point, and, unlike this new guy in town, CW offers a lovely, full-sized dining room with appropriately-sized tables for your party. The food is delicious, on point, and there's something for everyone on the menu...even the picky eaters. Ambiance, plenty of free parking, extensive wine list (by bottle and glass), delicious food, courteous and friendly servers. A+ all around. Bon appetit!

Still a great classic French meal here. Been cooking from Julia Child's book so wanted to revisit this place again- and it didn't disappoint. Coq au vin perfect and the fondue app was very good. Seafood crepe was on par too.

Had a really delicious lunch here. This was my first time in the restaurant and just love the ambience. Our server was very nice and attentive and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the French soup, blackberry, salmon, and then a delicious dessert. I will definitely return and especially want to try their very nice happy hour.

French is my favorite cuisine; I've had it all over the US and the World and this continues to be an excellent offering here in Nashville. Ambience is cozy and quiet. Service is always excellent and capable of adjusting meals for people with allergies or requests. The food is excellent and appropriately priced. Also would say unequivocally they have the best rendition of chateaubriand I've had yet and it is worth the extra price to have the preparation done table side. Been here almost 10x in the last year and have never had a bad experience or any inconsistencies.

One of my best meals ever in Nashville. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We had several appetizers all were delicious especially the foie gras. Our entrees were all beautifully plated and tasted fantastic as agreed by all at our table of 6. The lamb was served medium rare and was perfect! The steaks rival some of the best steakhouses. The coq au vin's medley of flavors in the sauce was marvelous. Desserts tried to steal the show. The strawberry Napoleon was large enough for two and was divine. Profiteroles were perfect for sharing. We will definitely be back for the wonderful food and service.

This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, or simply gift yourself a wonderful dining experience. One of my favorite spots in Nashville for fine dining... I love French cuisine!

I do not know where to start. This was the actual worst dining experience I've ever had. I feel exceptionally bad for the staff. There was ONE server for an almost entirely full restaurant. She also doubled as the bartender and expo. We got better service from the busboy than we did from our server. We didn't get greeted until 30 minutes after we were seated, and could barely understand our server because the restaurant was so packed and loud. We were never offered any drinks and were immediately rushed into ordering our food. The tables were so close quarters we could hear every word that the people next to us were saying. The food is another monster in itself. Do not get food from here. There's better food at McDonalds, I promise you. I paid 36 dollars for 4 tough scallops and cold cheesy rice. The menu is very misleading and is too pricey for the quality of the food you get. It was my birthday dinner and when I booked the table it asked if it was for a special event and I indicated as such. It was never once brought up or acknowledged while we ate. When the time came for the check, we looked all around for our server and discovered that she was COOKING SOMEONES FOOD IN FRONT OF THEM. In all other circumstances would be fine, except for the fact that she was the ONLY person working. The check took at least 20 minutes to be processed because she went and cooked ANOTHER meal in front of someone. Overall, don't go here unless you want to be disappointed.

We enjoy dining at Chateau West. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is spot on. For the first time though some of our ordered fish was not what we expected. One of our guests sea bass was a bit fishy and another guest Halibut was over cooked. The desserts were delicious, as they usually are. Our guest nonetheless enjoyed their dining experience. Thank you again!

This place is beautiful. We came in around 7, were seated and greeted promptly. They have a wonderful curated wine selection. Great smallish menu. We ended up with escargot, which I could eat every meal, the fondue, and shared a chateaubriand with the saffron shrimp, it was amazing. Big shout out to Eli, he really made our night special.
