We chose Chirch and Union for Mother's Day brunch based on the referrals from Foodie of Nashville... everything was really good... UNTIL we watched a younger lady go up to the dessert bar (which we were sitting right by) and get one pastry with the tongs.. suck whatever got on her fingers off, grab the next pair of tongs and do the same thing repeatedly until she got to the last dessert ?! The service was overall good, until they handed us our check and then we felt like we were being rushed out! We felt like it was a bit expensive for what was offered.. $460 for 4 people!

We enjoyed our before-Symphony meal here last Saturday night. It was uncrowded when we sat down and pretty full when we left. The menu was inventive and so different from run-of-the-mill downtown upscale restaurants. The F**** O**** Agnoloti was creative as was the plating/sauce for the salmon. The complementary hummus starter was nice and flavorful. Unfortunately, several of the sauces we tried were a bit under-flavored (e.g., we could taste or smell any ginger in the sauce around the salmon. Similarly, the Moroccan meatballs had no flavoring (other than the meat of course) although in that dish the combination of sauces worked quite well and were well flavored. The service was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was fun and exciting with good (mostly young) people watching. Convenient parking directly underneath.

We had a wonderful dinner before a TPAC show, we are local and wondered why we had never been here before! Our server was excellent, very conscious of our time restraints due to the show. We will definitely be back!

Honestly this was our worst meal in Nashville. Staff were nice but service was slow. I can accept slow if the food was good. My scallops were almost inedible. The texture was mushy, the sauce was bland. My BF had a pork chop that was so over cooked we were practically sawing it with the knife. Shrimp appetizer was good. We were very disappointed :(

Amazing place, the vibes and food were amazing! Our server was so sweet and very attentive! There were 17 of us so it made the experience even better! Definitely recommend this place for brunch if you are in Nashville! Short walk to broadway too!

The food was excellent, as were the wine and drinks. The hostess and manager were great. Our server was OK but either she had too many tables or she just didn't really care about her level of service. We ordered wine to come with our entrees after our seafood tower, and we were all practically done with our food by the time we were able to tell the manager when he came by our table. Other than that it was great.

Delicious and really outstanding service. Acoustics were a little noisy so if you're looking for a super quiet place you might want to come early or when it isn't full (if that ever happens). The fried green tomatoes were amazing - as was the s as salmon

Really really good food. We came right as dinner started on Friday and service was slow enough to grab a seat immediately. I got the fried chicken plate and I wish I would've had more room in my body to eat it all. We are definitely checking out the Charlotte location when we go in a couple weeks.

Easter Brunch was delightful! Huge variety of salads, breakfast items, main dishes and desserts. Standouts were the carved prime rib, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs, and all of the pastries. Get the mimosas too! Fresh squeezed juice. Shout out to the outstanding wait and kitchen staff!

This is one of the best meals I have had in Nashville. I got the Economy three-course meal option and I highly recommend the Moroccan Meatballs as a first course. The service was great, and the drinks were pretty good. I highly recommend this restaurant for a group.

I was in Nashville for work and this was my first time visiting. Tried out Church and Union Nashville this evening. Had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Eleni who provided excellent service and encouraged me to expand my lackluster palate. And those that know me...I don't like sauces, certain textures are a turn off, don't want my food to touch and need it to be visually pleasing! Since I'm on a per diem, the following were suggested from the Prix-fixe menu: Nola Shrimp, Roasted Salmon, Cu Poke Bowl ( a surprise addition from the Chef) and BRÛLÉED Maple Donut. Everything was Ah-mazing! Thank you Eleni!

We heard good things about this place so gave it a try. The service was great (Elijah was our server). We got the barrata app, and two entrees. All were fine- nothing really special. The best part of our whole meal was the dessert, a maple donut - it was phenomenal!
