I have not been here since covid. I will not be back. Tiny, limited menu now, and only one variety of vegetable for a side. The waiter did not know the difference between a sirloin or filet, and he brought out the salads 2 minutes after the steaks. The cornbread was interesting with the peppers in it, not great, but not bad either.

I tried this place even after I read the reviews , which some were terrible ! The odor people complained about was present , but nor overwhelming , so I gave it a go ! Ordered Catfish and they brought our the complimentary cornbread which was good , and then I tried the coleslaw which was the ending of my meal , because on the second bite I pulled a 10 long black hair out of the slaw , which I also bit into which is disgusting., I immediately put the hair on napkin and delivered it to manager , that was my experience

Very laid back atmosphere. Staff all friendly, service was excellent. Enjoyed watching them flip corn bread at each table when served. Food was delicious and there was so much we had left overs for at least 2 more meals. Prices very reasonable.

The food - fried pickles, corn bread, fresh cole slaw, and pickled onions are great. The fish and chicken tenders, good. Grilled shrimp was salty (didn't appreciate the waitresses asking how it was and we tell her and she's says we'll you're still alive). Atmosphere - they needed to use some fragrance, brighter lighting and dust. Workers - overall were kind and nice, the waitress was nice but the above comment along with telling us she makes $2 an hour were unnecessary and uncomfortable. But she was on top of her service skills which is why she was tipped - she met this needs well (just keep your pay to yourself and if it's salty either apologize on behalf of the cook or change it out). Overall a good experience, but have no strong drive to go back any time soon.

Very nice country style restaurant, we had the 1/2 pot of greens(slaw) and pickled onions and cornbread to start then the trio platter of grilled shrimp, catfish and chicken with baked potato it was fantastic!! Also the fried catfish and chicken with fries it was very good. Staff was very attentive and polite! Highly recommend

This place is exactly what you think when you think “Southern Charm”. The outside of the restaurant is gorgeous. The place looks like a country farm house with a wraparound porch. Inside decor is rustic and has that country charm. All wood paneling and rocking chairs galore. The service was excellent. Our waiter was prompt and attentive. The food itself was delicious. We started with Cole Slaw and a raw onion salad drizzled in a Vinaigrette dressing. Both were absolutely delicious. We followed this with the fried dill pickle and onion ring sampler. Both appetizers were better than we could have expected. The crunch of the breading along with the choice of seasonings used gave a perfect balance to the dill pickle chips. The crunch of the onion ring crust was on point. Next we dug into the main entree. The red feather sampler was more than enough food for my wife and I. The platter included two huge portions of fried catfish, 2 equally large boneless fried chicken breasts, 4 fried shrimp,2 hush puppies, and a generous helping of french fries. The catfish was on point and perfectly seasoned, my only complaint here was no fresh lemon wedges were offered for the fish. Next, the chicken was good, albeit slightly heavy handed on the salt. The fried shrimp were great on their own. The breading was plenty flavorful, however what was offered as cocktail sauce was merely ketchup with a whole lot of extra sugar in it. The hush puppies were slightly different than what I expected. They contained pieces of diced green pepper, which surprisingly led to a very pleasant overall flavor. Overall, I would give this establishment a score of 4.45 out of 5. Good ole southern food at really reasonable prices.

The food was good but not everyone wants spicy hot food, jalapeños don't need to be in cornbread.

0.0 - we were staying at KOA adjacent to restaurant and figured we would give it a try. Put our name in, zero people in the place and they said 10 min wait. Five min later a nice gentleman came in and put in a to go order and 20 min later he got his food … we were still not seated and walked out.Terrible place … smelled like salmonella waiting to happenJust don’t.
