Food and service were ok. Atmosphere is nice since it is located within the hotel, which is amazing!

We got seated in the corner where it was nice and quiet and surrounded on two sides by foliage. Very pretty. Waiter a little too eager to please and nearly dropped drink/food on me twice. But, he made a big to-do about the Shirley Temple for our three-year-old granddaughter and she was thrilled. Food was very good. The kale salad was so good, as were the ravioli. There arancini were a bit too bland, although that's not usually a spicy dish. The kale farro salad was fabulous, with hints of squash, pine nuts, amaro apricots and whipped ricotta.

Burrata app was amazing. Bartender was phenomenal and made an off menu drink!

The only thing worse than the food was the service. Please read reviews before considering this spot. I’m an optimist, amd thought…”it can’t be That bad”. Yes…. It can. We had to physically get up and get our waiter who was engaged in an antimatter conversation with a friend the two times we needed him.

If this had been a $40 meal, that would be one thing. But it was much, much, much more expensive and we would have gotten a better prepared, more flavorful meal had we walked across the street to the Cracker Barrel. I think this place has been tasked with pretending to be a high end Italian restaurant for folks who want bland food. Try to be everything to all people and you end up as nothing. The servers are clearly under pressure to upsell. And even though the restaurant was fairly empty, one of our dishes was quite greasy - as if it had been under the heat lamp too long. Once you're in the Opryland complex, it's tempting to stay. I encourage you - if you want a good meal, you best venture beyond the borders of the compound. I'm giving them two stars - purely in recognition of the fact that it was clean and no one dumped out food in our laps.

Unfortunately this is the worst service I have ever had at a wine bar. The hosts at the adjoining restaurant were very welcoming and nice and showed us over the wine bar area. That’s were the compliments end. The first bartender was a little standoffish but not a huge deal. We were told we could get our drinks and sit in the courtyard area (part of the wine bar), which we did. Then another a bartender (and maybe the manager) comes if we very rudely and aggressively taking things off the table and telling us that the area is closed (he let us stay but then proceeded to go yell at the hosts who let us sit there). The wine I had was very subpar (I wasn’t able to try it before ordering) and when I asked if I could try something different the same bartender grabbed my glass, made a snarky comment, and then gave me a menu and walked away without offering to answer any of my questions about the wine. Would NOT recommend. I would only go back to the Ravello restaurant next door instead (where the people are much nicer).

Wow this was a terrible dinner experience. For $200, we got inedible food and awful service on our last night staying at the Gaylord. We tried the fritto misto, Caesar salad, veal piccata, chicken Parmesan, chicken alfredo, and cheese pizza for our 3 yr old. The only edible item that was actually good was my son’s cheese pizza and I’m pretty sure they went and got it from Paisano’s since it took forever. I recommend saving yourself the money and terrible experience (the wait staff could care less we ate none of our food) and getting some pizza from paisano’s instead. We’ll never go back.

We hosted a business dinner at this restaurant. The food was average at best. The salads were different and nice serving sizes . The entrees were not served warm And not very flavorful. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance was very nice especially for a business dinner.

Quite expensive. We ordered a pizza. It was passable. Nothing to write home about. 2 Diet Cokes and a pizza with hard crust for $30 is ridiculous

If this is the best the hotel has to offer beware. Took 35 minutes after order for a cheese plate. That’s after I asked for it to go because it took so long. This is what was thrown on my table ($20.00 worth) with no apologies.

What a pleasant experience. Food was delicious & our server SB was excellent. Very attentive & knowledgeable. Surprised us with a complementary dessert for our anniversary.
