Visited here a long time ago on a family trip. We had a free appetizer coupon from doing a redneck comedy is tour. So we used coupon as an excuse to go. Very good Italian food with good atmosphere. Kinda pricey but that is expected with Italian food and being in a hot spot of downtown Nashville

Great food, great service, and great prices. We took advantage of their efficient carry-out service on this visit. My family has loved Demos' restaurant since they opened their first location in Murfreesboro decades ago.

Today July 24, 2020 my friend and I went to Demos in Hendersonville to eat a late lunch. We got there at 3:15 and we was told we would have to order off Dinner menu. So we ordered I ordered soup and salad . She brought me my order and the soup chicken and rice, it was nothing but hot milk. No flavor and I told her to take it back it hardly had any rice and chicken in the soup. We had to ask for bread 4 times. My friend ordered lasagna and it took 30 minutes to get and it had no seasoning in the sauce it was only crush tomatoes poured on top and it was only barely warm. Then she ask for more tea that she never got. We then go to the bathroom before we left, it was a disaster. Trash cans full and it wasn't clean. I looked at the sign in sheet for the staff to check the bathroom and the last time it was checked on the sign in check list was 10:30. So our dining experience today was a very stressful experience. I don't know what took so long to get our meal and why our meal wasn't hot. I made the remark if Peter Demos walk in he would have locked the doors and those employees would be in serious trouble.

This is the second time if fined at this lovely establishment and both times were a pleasure. Located in the heart of downtown, this place is perfect for lunch during your workday or a nice dinner with friends. The ambiance is warm and cozy and makes you feel like you're part of the Demo's family. The menu is American Italian with classics and signature dishes to choose from. I went with the famous chicken and rice soup and shrimp cocktail. They also bring complimentary bread for the table. The bread - fluffy with a cheesy crust. Very good and warm. The soup - delicious! I had this both times and I have never had chicken and rice soup like this before. It is so good and perfect in the cold weather. I crave it back in California! The shrimp cocktail - meh. I've had better but it was good. The wine - good size pours and $6 a glass. Not bad Overall this place is great. If you're in town or passing by, stop in and give it a try!
