Well, I don't know about other dishes but the sopes I ordered were simple with no flavor and the dough was raw. It's a shame since Oaxacan food is delicious and famous for its flavor. Something that I did like is that they welcome you with a little bit of mole from some delicious toasters.

The waitresses who are family members are very despotic, it seems like they are asking for free and the food they buy is the cheapest meat, it is too tough and there are dishes that have no flavor and are very expensive as if they were really worth it!!!

Very high prices for the type of dishes. Not to mention that they include the tip when several people go.

The music is too loud, there were eight of us, all with separate bills, yet they took 18% of the tip from each of us because it was a party of 8. It's not the tip, but the 18% is only taken away when you count it when it's board. Ehh I've been a waitress all my life and it doesn't seem fair to me. When the service is excellent, a good tip is left, but if your waiter is not attentive to their tables and they still take 18%, it is not good. On top of the fact that they take 18%, they want you to leave an extra tip.

This place prominently belongs in some of the foodie publications in town. The friendliness and good service should be commendable. Many mainstream establishments could learn from this simple unsophisticated place. The most important part of the review: the food is phenomenal! Tried ceviche tostadas, enmoladas, and tlayuda. Authentic flavors, quality and variety. Highly recommend if interested in a Mexican cuisine experience that's different from the other 95% of Mexican restaurants in the area.

So I’m here to leave my honest review. Literally just walked out of this establishment and was gave very poor customer service. The first waitress who came over was rude, unfriendly and gave us an unwelcoming look. She didn’t even start us with an appetizer. However, she was being friendly with the men there. This is the most poor customer service I’ve ever received in my life. We had another waitress take over but we ended up leaving since we were baffled at the experience. I’ll admit the food is good but the customer service will ruin the experience. The owner of the the restaurant who I believe is a woman is just as rude and I do not recommend coming here.

What a wonderful food experience. The mole is the best I have ever had. They greet you with a smile the moment you walk in, they serve you homemade chips with the most flavorful mole you have ever tasted. I had the rolled tacos stuffed with chicken and drenched in mole. I had a smile with every bite. The server came by several times to check if I needed anything. I can't say enough good things about this out of the way and unassuming restaurant. Just try it, you will thank me later.
