Great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Desserts are great with up to 8-9 inches of meringue on their pies!Parking: Scan and park. Get the first hour free.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love itWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access
This place has really good food and milkshakes. When I walked inside it felt like walking back in time. They have done a really good job keeping it as original as they could.
This restaurant has very slow service and constantly forgot items and even forgot a whole desert. There floats taste heavily watered down as if they mixed tap water and ice cream.

Super cute place, great atmosphere/vibe & delicious food! We were only in town for a long weekend and we went twice!!Dietary restrictions: They had good gluten free options for my cousin and she said it was delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: Great ramp to get up to the building entrance
One of the best breakfasts in town! The scrambled eggs are great! Biscuit and gravy is delicious! Along with the turkey sausage, and either the grits or potatoes are a great addition! My favorite ?

We drove by this place and it looked super cute so we stopped for lunch. It is very nicely decorated like a 50’s feel, and the staff was nice. The food was mediocre at best though. I ordered meatloaf/3 sides. It was all barely warm. My daughter ordered chicken and 2 sides. Her chicken looked dry, and smelled stinky like fish. She did not eat it. They did refund her meal. Staff was nice enough, but it’s not somewhere we will revisit. Food was just not good. Super cute atmosphere though!

Great atmosphere, good assortment of food to choose from, delicious food, large portions and not too expensive! There was lots of staff and alll of the staff was very friendly. We went for lunch but made sure to save room for this HUGE banana split!Parking: There is a parking lot right next door and they offer 1 hour free parking to customers of this restaurantKid-friendliness: They have a good selection for kids at a reasonable price
Breakfast menu has many great choices. Everything is made fresh. Save room for the famous pie! You won't be sorry. Our waitress answered all our questions & made some helpful suggestions. She made sure everything came out as we ordered. Definitely a must visit if you're near Vanderbilt University!

This review is meant for travellers; locals apparently relish this sort of Southern grease feast. This kind of fare might not be suitable for travellers, and I would suggest going somewhere more upscale to try southern cuisine. In direct criticism of the restaurant, the meatloaf came in cold and doused not in tomato sauce but ketchup. The milkshake tasted but sweet, no milk or cream flavour whatsoever.

I was there for filming and decided to grab some fries and a shake while I waited. Everything was great and I highly reccomend if you want a little throw back of nostalgia.
