The perfect place for good size drinks at a good price, with great appetizers. You’re right in the heart of five points so you have plenty of options for your next spot (or your first spot beforehand).

I enjoyed the food. I had the Cilantro shrimp which tasted great! I could feel the seasoning and authentic taste of the food. Really enjoyed my dish.

Went for national margarita day. We sat at the bar when you enter. Love the atmosphere back there. They were crazy busy around 6 to 630, line out the door! It’s a great little spot.

I have not eaten here only came in for margaritas. The happy hour is good $5.00 margarita's and they are delicious especially if you add a shot of top shelf tequila!

Such a chill place to eat great Mexican food. The best chile relleno I have had.

Got a takeout from food delivery services app, and they recommended “Gringo Chicken” as their most popular item so I ordered that. A friend of mine got the Fajitas (steak+chicken). I loved my food, it wasn’t as hot as I’d like by the time it reached my place but I’m very excited to try them in person next time!Update 11/2023: ended up finally going there in person, and loved it even more.

Awesome tequila selection! The margs and queso were fantastic. Nice outdoor patio with garage doors that are often open. They have multiple tv's and usually games on. Food & drinks were delicious and at a great price point, service was good. Overall, it's a vibe

I believe it is probably good food but the drinks are somewhat premade and you can’t taste any liquor/tequila in the margaritas and daiquiris.

I came in there ready to enjoy some tacos on my lunch break. I was so distraught and disappointed when our waiter didn’t care to serve us or get us simply waters. She was so mean and rude like she didn’t wait us there. I was so saddened that my food was cold and out waiter didn’t even come back to check on us. I had to go find her for some waters and out check. When she finally gave us out check, she over charged me $10 dollars on the check. I don’t think you all should trust them with your money or time. I was looking for some great food on my lunch break and only left crying. I hope you all do better or you won’t be there for long. Awful restaurant

I normally love this place but this experience was HORRIBLE. We walked in and no one was at the register to seat us we had to wait like 10 minutes till we eventually walked to the bar and asked someone to do so. They ended up seating us at a table that had clearly already been served expecting us to eat from some salsa and chips that had clearly already been eaten from. It was disgusting. Also no one even explained the situation to us or came over to greet us/take our order, but we saw multiple people being served. Worst service ever.

Very excellent dining experience at Cilantro. You'll get slightly better tasting food and cocktails at bartaco, but for the price portions and service, you can't beat Cilantro. We got steak quesidilla, guac and chips, chips and salsa, refried beans, rice, black beans, vegetable fajitas, and two cocktails for under 60 bucks! The food tastes authentic and home cooked. They do have a scratch kitchen, and they make a lot of the food to order. I'm pretty sure our guac was made by hand in the stone bowl that it was served in. I'll def be going back. The portions are super generous, and everything tastes really fresh. The black beans were really good they let the flavor of the beans really shine. They don't have super cool presentation like st anjeo butbthe beans are very good. This is a great place to grab lunch on a budget but still have a great healthy meal. Their cocktails are solid, but nothing crazy. They are all traditional Mexicana riffs on classics. Very balanced, but they don't try to re invent the wheel. I recomend the mango mojito. Travelers should check this place out and locals will love this hidden lunch gem.
