I may have had the best meal of my 55-year life! I had the scallops (off-menu special) and my husband had the pork chops. What an amazing explosion of flavors in both dishes! Lobster bisque was subtle (not too salty) and rich - so good! And the service was off the charts fantastic! Props to Max and Andrew! Delicious wines and great live music, which wasn't too loud. We could still talk easily. The only cons were the Brussels sprouts, which are brought out as a complementary extra, but they were just steamed and lightly seasoned. I like Brussels sprouts, but these were simply not great (like why bother?). And the seating was not super comfortable. Bench seat was hard - per my husband - and my chair was really low and the table had a large pedestal bottom, so between those two and my long legs, I had to sit sideways. But it won't stop us from coming back. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Excellent meal and lovely evening!

The experience at Gannons was amazing. We had let them know in advance that we were celebrating our Anniversary and as soon as we checked in, the hostess wished us a happy anniversary. We also had a "Happy Anniversary" sign at our table. Once our waitress arrived, she also wished us a happy anniversary and provided us with a complementary champagne toast. We felt loved and welcomed. The meals my husband and I had was top tier! I had the 8oz filet cooked at medium and it was *chef's kiss*. I highly recommend booking reservations for Gannons the next time you're in Nashville. You won't be disappointed.

First thing. This is a wonderful spacious location located within a Marriott hotel. Complete with an art deco style, the ceilings in this rectangular space are at least twenty feet high. Bring a light jacket of you chill easily. Our server, Mark, extended a very warm, professional, table service and shared some insights on menu items we asked about. Our tab came in just under $300 for two appetizers, a cocktail, three glasses of wine, two entrees and a delicious dessert. We were fortunate to have he additional luxury of a pianist offering background music. I must comment on the teamwork we enjoyed. Mark and his fellow staffers were finely tuned into the cadence of our meal. We will be back. *I included a picture of the cocktail list because it is worth sharing. I ordered an Aviation, not one the list, and the bartender nailed it.

We had an early dinner before the symphony (close by and validated parking). Gorgeous large art deco room. Quieter because of high ceiling. Excellent service. High prices are comparable (or even a tad lower) to other downtown steakhouses. Appetizers were really tasty. The girls had appetizers as entrees and were very happy. The guys all had prime rib which was good but not exemplary. Will try something different next time.

Not bad for a hotel restaurant but was hoping for better based on the reviews. Prime rib lacked seasoning. Potatoes were bland and very small portions. Appetizers were good but again smaller portions.

A girlfriend and I came here for dinner. We are longtime locals. We were looking for a dinner spot near TPAC. I saw this restaurant on Yelp and it looked good but I was leery because it's in the Marriott hotel. We both loved it! First, the decor is a gorgeous art deco. There was a small band playing. Not too loudly. Tables aren't crowded (I hate that). Our wait person (Kirsten) was excellent. She described the food well, offered good food & wine suggestions and she was prompt and friendly. We ordered a few dishes to share to include the cesar salad (good, not over dressed), wild mushroom risotto appetizer (a little thick but very tasty), filet with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts (perfectly cooked meat, creamy potatoes. I love Brussels sprouts and these were not good - overcooked & flavorless). We shared the barbecued shrimp with linguine (yum! Excellent!) and a side of roasted mushrooms (yum). We will definitely go back and bring our other gfs with us. There were other things on the menu that looked/sounded delicious...duck empanadas, pork chop, tartare. This would be a great spot for a date night. We parked in the pay lot on 4th across from hotel. Restaurant does validate. It's an easy walk to TPAC. Parking after dinner validation was $8.

Two blocks off Broadway… we wanted someplace a little quieter. The decor is fantastic and they have soft, jazzy, live music playing in the background. Cole, our server was amazing! Pleasant and helpful with recommendations. I ended up getting a bowl of lobster bisque and the sirloin steak over potatoes with the bleu cheese sauce. AMAZING! Some of the best bisque I’ve ever had! The steak had a phenomenal rub and cooked perfectly! My husband had the wedge salad and the grilled shrimp over linguine. Again, AMAZING! It had a Cajun flair with tons of grilled shrimp. They have happy hour from 3-6pm everyday with drink and oyster specials. Also, a breakfast buffet that we still need to try. Price was incredibly fair considering what they’re charging at pricier steakhouses and down on broadway. I had a large bottle of Perrier and my husband had a beer. Bill was about $130… if you want well-seasoned food in a lovely setting, try this place, you will not be disappointed!

TLDR: Go here. Sit at the bar. Have a Teresa Mule. Eat the risotto. Just trust me!We stayed at a hotel in Brentwood that recommended we visit here. We didn’t really have time to go as we were trying to squeeze a lot of spots in before a concert, but we coincidentally happened upon it during happy hour while walking between other places and we are SO glad we did!The time we thought we didn’t have? Haha, we ended up loving this place so much we skipped out on our other spots! Zach & “Mother Teresa” were AMAZING behind the bar. They were helpful, good conversation, and skilled at their craft. We enjoyed watching them sling out their drinks, were the annoying people asking them questions about their drinks and careers, and trusted them to come up with drinks of their choosing. The risotto: top tier. The fried little mushrooms on top were just *chef’s kiss* ?Teresa’s Mule: this vanilla cinnamon mule of Mother Teresa’s creation was by far the best mule I’ve ever had anywhere ever.

Great restaurant in downtown Nashville. Steps from Broadway and what a great find. Food was excellent, steaks were prepared to perfection and come with sides, charcuterie board was delicious, lobster bisque was yum! Loved the live music and atmosphere. Very nice for an evening out!!!

This has to be the biggest hidden gem in Nashville. Gannons came up during a random Yelp search I was conducting. I decided to give it a try. My bf and I was seeing a show at TPAC and walked over to Gannons afterwards. Our reservation was for 5:30pm, but they were able to get us in at 5pm. The entire staff was amazing. Our waiter Mark went over and beyond to make sure our visit was amazing. Please ask for him if you go. The main star of our meal was the pork chop with a peach glaze. Just when I thought Urban Grub and Perry's had the best pork chop in town. The pork chop was 20 out of 10. It was prepared perfect with its juices still in tact. The peach glaze was an added bonus. I also enjoyed the cream spinach. How could I forget about the Brie oysters I had as a starter. Please forgive me, talk about a flavor parade. Oysters Rockefeller who, it's all bout the Brie . Overall, this is the perfect date night for an elevated intimate dinner.

Loved our dinner. Prime rib is very good but enormous. We shared and it was still a lot. Beautiful restaurant great music. Enjoyed our evening. A little pricey and we were charged an additional sharing fee. Not cool for a high end restaurant. I would recommend though just don't tell them you are sharing.
