There is parking around the restaurant. It's look like a house that was converted into a restaurant. We were greeted and seated quickly. There were fairly busy with a variety of group sizes. The service is slower paced so isn't a place to visit if you are in a rush. Our waiter made periodic appearances and was knowledgeable about the menu. I liked the green beans and the split peas. The yellow lentils were a little dry. The stew had a lot of flavor.

Ordered food through Uber Eats. My order wasn’t delivered. Instead of immediately requesting a refund via Uber Eats I called the restaurant directly in attempt to rectify the issue. I couldn’t hear the person on the phone and I politely let them know. They didn’t care. Instead of attempting to sort the issue (find my food and have it delivered) I received “well I don’t know it was Uber driver”. Seriously? Not a single step to try to fix the issue. I’m not from the US - I’m visiting and this was an *awful* experience.At least Uber Eats gave me a full refund. The restaurant didn’t care one bit.I got walked half a kilometer to get tacos instead. I absolutely don’t recommend this place.Do better.

If you are looking for a hearty meal, think no more this is the right place. We definitely had to wait a little while to get the food but it was way worth the wait. Do not at all miss the COFFEE.

Absolutely love this place! We have been coming here for years and the food, service and atmosphere never disappoint. Yes - it’s a hole-in-the-wall. Yes - it’s not as updated and “hip” as other places in the area. However, the people are friendly and accommodating, it’s authentic, and the food is always amazing! My favs are the avocado salad and the asa goulash.
Food is okay, but the lentils were under cooked and the meat was so tough. The place seems run down but clean. Sort of sucks that you have to order a meal insead.of order items to share individually. My wife ordered the veggie meal for $16.99 but the portions were so small we couldn't believe it. I'm posting a picture of my wife's meal with the portion size. Too expensive for what you get. There are other Ethiopian restaurants in the area with better food and cheaper prices or at least bigger portions.

Wonderful service and food. Having spent a lot of time in Ethiopia this only brought back great memories of the travels. Kitfo is absolutely great albeit a little less spiced than I prefer (but that's just personal preference).
