Until Saturday 4/6, my last visit was over a year ago. I had taken a while to come back because the last time wasn't the best experience. I'm really glad I gave them a second chance, as the meal was great, and the entire team and manager were delivering excellent service. Whoever is leading the team now is doing a great job and I hope they keep doing what they're doing.

We ordered from Greko from an app. The food is fresh and amazing and tastes home made. Loved the chicken soup, 1/2 roasted chicken, and the potatoes. Delicious and I'll be ordering again.

Good afternoon. I am requesting that Jason or an owner of this restaurant give me a call to reach out to me. I have already sent a message to the owners message portal on the website for complaints. The Assistant Manager at this restaurant should be fired expeditiously. This guy is rude, unprofessional and aggressive with customers. I’m not sure what kind of mental issues he is dealing with; but, he shouldn’t be in this role if he doesn’t know how to control his emotions and interactions with customers. The behavior that this Assistant Manager displayed on today (April 6th) is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.Update: The Partner/Owner (Jason) of this restaurant called on April 7th, 2024 just to give me more attitude than his Assistant Manager. Apparently he didn’t care anything about how rude and unprofessional his Assistant Manager was to me. I explained my concerns to the Owner Jason and he continued to talk over me and was very disrespectful. These two men at this location are very disrespectful to women; especially, black women. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.

I've been to Greko twice in the last month, and I think this spot is well on its way to becoming my go-to. It's soo hard to find restaurants with fresh, healthy options that also offer takeout, but Greko really is out here doing the damn thing. On my most recent visit, I stopped in around 8:30 and placed an order to-go. Normally I hate coming into a restaurant the hour before they close, but Greko was still relatively busy with folks dining in, and the cashier kindly assured me it was no problem. I've had their chicken and shrimp before and enjoyed both, but I love that Greko also offers a robust vegetarian option. This time around, I went with the Veg Bowl, with extra veggies. i also added a side of pita - and they serve it cut into triangles, which makes dipping oh-so easy. My bowl was just what I was craving - fresh and hearty, full of grilled veggies and topped with a creamy tzatziki sauce. The only thing I'd adjust for next time is adding an extra side of that sauce! You also get a good amount of food for the price. A big thank you to the Greko team for making sure East Nashville has healthy and satisfying options! I'm excited to continue exploring their menu.

It's tough to be biased when you are a native Greek! Menu is pretty descent, portions are sufficient, maybe what is throwing me off is the extra spices that don't resemble Greek cuisine. A traditional salad contains tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper, onions, a block of feta, olive oil and if desired, oregano. The food is good overall.

I was actually trying to go to a different restaurant in the area, but couldn't find parking. After noticing GReKo as I was driving around, I also noticed that they had a free parking lot. Counter service was quick, and the food was cooked to order and brought out fresh. My server apologized for a slight char on the beef souvlaki and said they would bring out another one. There was nothing wrong with this delicious kebab, served on a bed of fresh oregano! I also had an outstanding skewer of octopus souvlaki and a "half" salad which was generous and garnished with toasted chickpeas. One of the manager/owners came to me and asked if my replacement skewer had been delivered yet; I told him it wasn't necessary, so he had a complimentary baklava brought to me instead. Memorable food, great ambiance, convenient parking, and just off the I-24/40 on the east side. I now have a reason to stop in Nashville on those long road trips to elsewhere! THANKS FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
