I love this place and I have been coming here for years. I brought my students here and they were treated by the wait staff and management/owners with such kindness and had so much fun playing the free games! As we were leaving, one of them said, “They were so nice!” The name says it all because they make you feel as if you’re home!

This place had so much potential. I came on a Saturday at 1:30 pm, at 2:20 pm I went to the bar to retreieve my own water. My mistake wasn't leaving as soon as I walked in. The service is horrible. It took over 3 hours to be served. No apologies. The waitress clearly did not care. Then we received a sandwich with a hair on it. This was genuinely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I will never be back and highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.Please read the Yelp reviews after the google reviews. Multiple photos of food posted with hair in it and lack of management was obvious.The owners responses are dismissive. A customer posted a photo of hair in her food (which I also experienced). And her response was “ Fine dining we're not. We're a neighborhood pub serving comfort food like your mom might have made but perhaps better.” Well ma’am, my mom does not allowed her guests to go thirsty for an hour nor does she serve hair as a garnish. Peace and love, please quit your day job.

Have been here multiple times. Food has been hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes really good and other times bland. The buffalo chicken dip is so thick and flavorful. The Mac and cheese wasn't as flavorful or cheesy as I hoped. The turkey and avocado sandwich was very good. I have eaten the black bean burger twice - it was amazing the first time, then bland the second. The service is kind, but can be slow. The atmosphere is laid back and there is live music sometimes in the back room. I like the decor and multiple brew options. Everything we have tried has been exceptionally good. The menu is creative with plenty of comfort food choices. I suggest coming hungry.There is live music but it is cleverly on a far end so you still have quieter dining area. Seriously great food with a staff that seems to enjoy being there. This place is obviously a labor of love and not a same old, same old chain restaurant.

This drink called sweater weather was 10 out of 10. I was afraid to try at first bc the ingredients didn't seem to go. The bartender, I believe her name was Christine, was AMAZING and soooo sweet. She encouraged me to try it....I think I had 5 LOL. Great experience!

I only gave the 3 star on food because they don't really serve much that I care for, but this place would be good for a vegetarian! What I really love is the beer selection, the atmosphere, and the staff. This is a really cool hangout place to grab a sandwich a beer and chitchat for a while. I also like that they are gay friendly overall since there aren't a ton of places in Hermitage/Donelson like that.

Service here is always quick and reliable. Caesar salad is a solid choice. Buffalo Mac n Cheese had bacon crumbles on top... I must have skimmed right over that in the dish description , would have rather asked to hold the bacon. So many beer choices it takes a minute to read all of the chalkboard. Good place for big groups.Dietary restrictions: NOT Alpha-gal friendly, meat and pork on almost every dish, even the chicken, it's a minefield if your allergy includes cross contamination.

Great beer selection and served in real pint glasses. We stopped in for drinks and ordered the jalapeno poppers, which were excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely visit again.
