This place was amazing. Very grown and sexy and I loved the mysterious element to it all. No phones or photography are allowed once you actually make it downstairs into the House of Cards. The magicians were skilled and made the evening light and airy. The food was delicious and very upscale which matched the dress code required. We went here for Valentine's day and we would definitely return.

What a great and wonderful experience. I say that because it is definitely something to do when you come to Nashville. The food was amazing! The service was amazing! The magic was amazing! Every detail has been thought out even to the photographer who will take your group's picture. Yes, there is no photography allowed but I love that because it forces you to be in the moment and to enjoy conversations with each other. Be sure to see the history on the walls and ask for a tune played by the Thurston at the piano!

Everything was stellar!Took my sweetie here for his birthday.He loves closeup magic.The food was delicious... perfectly cooked scallops and the smokey sweet pepper stuff on top was incredible, filet wasn't over-salty as so often in this area AND they had an awesome selection of seasonings and garnishes to choose, Chilean sea bass had the perfect crisp on the outside but flaky and tender inside.Drinks were great.Staff was excellent.Our needs were met with perfect timing.Photographer available.The magicians were incredible.Prices are exceptionally reasonable for what is provided...we had 4 hours of great experience.The details creating the atmosphere were amazing and beautiful; full of historical artifacts!!Dress up! Have fun! You cannot overdress. Heck, make a steampunk victorian costume night of it!As locals, now that we know we can also eat at the bar without a reservation and see the closeup magic, we plan to make this a monthly activity.They also have a super neat party room...can seat 15 people, about $1500 minimum for dinner with dedicated magician and eventually offering seances !!!!!!!Parking: They validate for Pinnacle across the street

Our server, Matthew was outstanding. He was very attentive and made excellent recommendations. The food was good but expensive. The magic performances throughout the evening were excellent and you can stay as long as you want. If you consider the cost of dinner and a show then the overall cost, while expensive, is much more palatable. Would highly recommend for a very unique experience while in Nashville.
We would highly recommend The House of Cards. The food was excellent. The service is beyond good. The magic show The Misfits was excellent. Later you can go back out in the area and watch card tricks. Terry, David and Kevin. All great but we had a great time with Terry. Expect to pay but it is well worth it. We would do it all over again. Highly recommend.
Experience was great, service, and ambiance were great and the magic was a lot of fun, but the food is overpriced for what you get. The food was not bad but not up to par for the price. I recommend going and having drinks and getting what is required as per their policy on entrees for admittance. I am cool paying for a premium to support their wonderful staff, but the menu needs a revamp. Drinks were great too.

This place was amazing. A group of us went for dinner and the show. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and all the side shows and the main show were spectacular. We all thoroughly enjoyed our night and if I lived in the area I would definitely go again.
We had the most magical girls night at House of Cards! The vibe, the food, the service, the magic - all incredible! JD took amazing care of us and was so fun, kind and attentive. We can't wait to come back!

Manager Josh was extremely not accommodating. Came here for a birthday and was served PORK on Ramadan. Took a side dish off and refused to take off our entree that was ruined because "we don't do that here." Told the server I did not eat meat and was served pork during Ramadan. Very unhappy with resolution, show was not great either. May have enjoyed myself more if Josh helped me and my sister with the pork issue. Absolutely did not. Do not recommend to Muslim backgrounds here. They do not care.
