We tried Island Vibes today for an early dinner. Very small place. Food decent at best. Ox tails not to my taste and over priced. Small order with a lot of rice and beans was almost $19.00/ Wife had fish and rice and beans. Two soft drinks and two meals with tax was $61.00. I'm going to stick with a chain restaurant for my ethnic adventures.

I ask for a large oxtail not one but two large plates and it looks like the gave me two small plates I was not pleased I knew the difference because I have been before and got small

Posting for my Dad who lives in Kentucky and sent me this pic and the restaurant info. He said the Red Snapper was great and I believe him! So glad he finally found a taste of the islands near him! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been to this restaurant several times. Love the food here! But the last two times I’ve ordered food, it’s been mid to sub par. The plantain’s weren’t ripe which is criminal. Nothing worst than unripe sweet plantains. The oxtail I received was just broth and bones which was really disappointing. The cabbage barely filled the section on the plate. I hope they turn it around and bring back the portions and quality from before.

Tennessee, you all have some excellent Jamaican food!! The customer service was superb. They were right on time with the Escovitch-style Red Snapper! The FLAVA was EVERYTHING!! The cabbage and plantains were cooked to perfection, adding to the overall enjoyment of my meal. And! And! I found Sea Moss; this is a major WIN!! The music was a vibe!! Dope Spot, Guys!!

Searched for Jamaican food and this placed showed up. I decided to try it. I ordered jerk chicken with rice and beans and cabbage and fried plantains. I also got curry goat with the same sides. I’ll start with the service. The woman behind the counter was not very inviting. The music was also too loud. Now for the food. As far as the chicken. It was okay. A little on the dry side but the flavor was okay. The sides were not eatable. The rice and beans were extremely dry and the fried plantains were not fresh. They were definitely old. The curry goat was the most disappointing thing. It was 95% bones and no meat. Would not recommend this place.

Nov. 21, 2023 Came here with my friends and tried out their Jerk Tuesday. Comes with rice, charcoaled chicken, and sweet plantains. Make sure to get their spicy sauce (extremely spicy but so good)!!! I usually get their Ox-Tails (hands down), please check them out

I would give a full 5 stars ⭐️ however when ordering a to-go plate its not put together until your arrival! This is upsetting because when your on a time crunch for lunch u literally loose 8-10 of precious time. When placing to-go orders the name says it all i want to pay and walk out with my food to be able to enjoy it!
