Crunchy shrimp sushi app didn't taste fresh.Very chewy. However, I did like walking into the cool, dim, lit room with sharp fixtures. The front doors were difficult for someone on crutches or wheelchair, but the hostess did help me on the way out. The Thai Kai salad was delicious & the server was well versed & charming. There was no wait at 11am, but quickly became busy & loud as one would would expect. Overall, nice experience.

J Alexander's has been in regular rotation for me for years. I only left out 1 star for food because I'm not dure that it fits everyone. They fit the bill for any occasion. I even pop in alone often for a delicious bite and sip of vino.?Enjoy!Parking: I have never had an issue with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Found this restaurant just to be ok but not great. It could just be what I got which was the Halibut. It was overcooked and had to actually use a knife to cut it which I've never had to do with halibut before. Someone else at the table got the ribeye which is 14 ounces but is a thin steak so it doesn't look like 14 ounces. The marinade for the steak is good but they trim the steak which, in my opinion, ruins why you order a ribeye. Others at the table may disagree with my assessment of the restaurant but if it were me, I wouldn't go back. There are probably better places to get a steak in Nashville. The atmosphere was very good and the server was pleasant but probably could have been a little more attentive. But all in all his service was good.

There to celebrate my birthday. We both ordered prim rib. Both our cuts had a lot of fat in the center and was not as we expected. The service was excellent but was disappointed in the food. Sorry.

Good food although all of it has too much dressing/sauce/etc. I would order differently next time. Veggies are just drowning in oil.I get that it was Saturday night, but the bathrooms were so dirty and the view into the kitchen tonight was really gross.

I ordered med well ribeye it was over cooked and thin for 45 dollars Only small amount of butter and sour cream on potato. The server was vey nice and good personality, the manager came asked mme if I wanted another stake he had noPersonality, he should have just given mme another one . With tip I spent 66 dollars for tough stake ,baked potato, glass of non alcoholic beer, could not eat all of stake,I know sometimes cooks get angry when they have to redo order so I said I didn’t want another stake , but they should have just given mme one not put the decision on me

I usually love J. Alexander but today it was approximately 1245, we(my family) enter the restaurant… we were seated, my baby began to cry/moan(I was assuming she was hungry, we ordered our food right away. The (what appears to be)manager, asked us if there was anything he could do for us, I replied, she’s hungry and tired, and we’ve already ordered our food… no longer then 5mins passed, that manager brought the food out and stated, “ We’re getting complaints about your baby crying, what are you going to do….” I answered, we’ve only been here maybe 10mins. He shrugged his shoulders, I immediately asked for to go boxes, paid for our food and service and left….That was a horrible experience, there was zero compassion… n I will not be returning or recommending.

I frequent J. Alexander's (both locations) I'm ALWAYS satisfied with their food! Last night I visited the White Bridge Rd location 50 minutes before closing time. I was greeted and served by one of the sweetest servers (Maurice) He provided AMAZING service!

The food was wonderful my husband and I shared the Maui ribeye, baked potato, and Mac and cheese. Our waiter was attentive and fast given that we had four young children with us! While our kids were welcome the atmosphere is a nicer one and very intimate! Plus my little one experienced her first snow after dinner!

Got into town late on Jan 1st. Called and they said they would close soon but if there in 5 mins they would seat us. We got there and the sat us as there were a few empty tables. First off the place was not clean. Ok we were there at the end of the night on a holiday so I can give them a pass. However at least get rid of the food on the floor under the table. Ok now for the rest of the review. The service was good and even with us being there just before closing staff was smiling and accommodating. We each had a drink and the better was the pomegranate martini. My son had a Caesar salad that was excellent (wish I had it). We both had burgers his a classic cheeses and mine the two patties. They were just ok. Mine was very salty. Overall pretty good but I liked when they gave bread before.
