T is for Texas. T is for Jacks Baaarbecue.Seriously good brisket and sausage at Jacks.I’ve had both several times and they are consistently amazing.Ribs are…ehhh…soft. Too soft and bland. Stick with the brisket and sausage, which are awesome.Cornbread is awesome. Sides are awesome. Sweet tea is awesome.
My nose told me this was going to be amazing the second I stepped in the door. We came early to neat the rush and got the three meat platter with mac n cheese and slaw. The meat had an incredible smokiness. Bright red smoke ring. Out of this world flavour. The pulled pork was 15/10. The ribs were delicious but a bit overcooked, the brisket had a great smokiness and seasoning but this Alberta boy can't seem to find good beef south of the border. Authentic. Wonderful smoke. The pie wasn't too bad either! It was served with pride and love, and it came through in every bite. Highly reccomend!

Cashier was rude when I didn’t tip on a Togo $8 sandwich. She was also eating and touching her mouth before she handled my food. Love Jacks BBQ but I won’t COME back. Plenty of places to eat that will appreciate my business.
Local to the area Jacks has been a staple in Nashville for a long time. Stopped by today went thru drive thru got a jumbo shoulder sandwich and a fountain drink $13....thought that was a bit much. Get back to work sandwich was the size of a Krystal slider and had no flavor, my drink cup wasn't even half full and tasted like they poured the syrup straight into my cup with no carbonation. Very disappointed!! THIS NASHVILLIAN will not return... Y'all gotta do better!!

I've eaten here since the 90s. For me, this is hands down the best bbq in the US. The meat/veggies are always fresh, staff members are super nice, and the portions are healthy.Thxs Jack for keep'n that hometown feel!
Not pleased that we received overly cooked or old cornbread on our plates. Usually it’s fresh, not sure what is going on today.

Greasy brisket. Soggy coleslaw. Great cornbread and sauce.Low in hygiene. Shouldn’t be outside with food gloves and touching dirty doors handles. Soap empty in bathroom and sanitizer dry. Staff likes reply with a question asking how you don’t know what something is.Sadly I still don’t know what it is so I didn’t order it.“Don’t forget to tip!” Or else they’ll be panhandles at checkout.
I love Jacks! Best smoked sausage and greens!
