Today I visit Jacks on Charlotte Ave and my last I found the meat cutter extreamly rude. Thanks a lot to the customer service manager I appreciate her apology. I paid for my daughter and granddaughter food but chose not to purchase anything for myself due to bad customer service from the meat cutter. I was not aware I had to have knowledge how jacks served there meat. I was also told the general manager was coming over to our table to talk that never happened. I would give no stars if I could. My family enjoyed their food good customer service means everything to me.

Was needed a break between bar hopping and this place was recommended. The sausage was delicious. The sides were pretty good. The brisket wasn’t for my taste, being from Texas and they called it Texas style brisket.

The food was great we tried both the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Mac and cheese and the potato salad was bomb. The line was pretty long we grabbed beers and drank them while we waiting in line. The staff were friendly we decided to go back late night and buy some merch.

This has been my favorite BBQ spot so far in the Nashville area. The meats are not dried out and the sauces are so yummy ? I like that there are different seating options.

For a quick, delicious and inexpensive food stop (dine in or away) you can’t beat this place on Broadway. “Rustic “ atmosphere but clean. The line moves fast so didn’t let that deter you. Lots of seating upstairs and on the patio. I highly recommend the mac &cheese as one of the sides. ENJOY!

Had better. Service is kinda rough. Not super family friendly. If you are here for real BBQ it’s low key not the best. There are so many other spots outside of the “district” that will be much better.

Jacks never disappoints. Great flavor of their meats and a wide variety of sides. Platters include some solid corn bread, too. Portions will leave most people feeling pretty full. I like the older mom and pop type feel seating. It's nothing fancy, slightly run down, sit where you want and get in and out. No worrying about chasing down a wait staff. If you want some great tasting BBQ, good portion sizes, reasonable prices, and no frills than Jacks is your place.

This has to be the worst barbecue I have had in a long time. The ribs and brisket were overcooked and tough. A young patron next to me had the chicken and it was not edible, it was tough and overcooked. The father of the young patron had to get a replacement meal. Macaroni and cheese was the replacement because the meat was so bad. The last time I ate here, the food and cornbread was soft and edible. This time it was like eating fried mush, hard and chewy. I would never eat here again. Also, the three meat meal is overpriced and not worth the money.

Solid place for BBQ. We wait in line and order at the counter. The food is a bit overpriced for the atmosphere but delicious. One reason I had to drop a star is because I have a food allergy and the cross contamination happening here is crazy. All the various foods touch the same services and the server had the same gloves on for all foods he touched. Not a big deal if you don’t have food allergies, but otherwise be careful. The place has plenty of seating and choice for drinks and desserts. It was a good spot to check out as a visitor to the area. But this likely isn’t a local favorite.

I’ve eaten here a long time ago and thought I would try it again it was good back then. Now it’s 3/4 fat in your meat this is one of the worst barbecues I’ve ever had. I would never recommend this place to anybody else it cost me $35 with a two dollar tip just for pick up For a three meat platter and they don’t give you that much meat. Most of It’s fat fat

Decent food, not great. Not really worth the wait. Guys cutting up the meat were cool but the register lady was very unpleasant. Made me feel like I killed her dog or something.
