We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Joe Muer's. Everyone we came in contact with was personable and accommodating. We ordered the Raw Bar Plateau for two and it was superb! My entree was the scallops and it was divine - a very generous portion, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. My husband had the Airline Chicken, also delicious! I had to try the tomato cobbler out of curiosity, and while it was so good, I almost had too much food. Next time I will skip the side and save room for the coconut cake. I can't forget to mention how wonderful Hileen was! 10/10 would recommend Joe Muer's when you want to treat yourself.

I spent $2,000+ entertaining out of town guests. It was my first time at Nashville's Joe Muer (I had been to Detroit many times). The experience was without question the worst and slowest service I have ever had in Nashville in my life. The manager never once came to our table to apologize for the 2-hour wait. He never offered to cut out bill. He never offered any apology whatsoever. Even though the food was good, I will never go back. The restaurant was only half full and now I know why. I will never go back.

We were a party of 6 for a birthday dinner on Saturday evening. While our server was excellent in terms of the service he provided, our food took such a long time. Our reservation was at 7:15 and we did not leave until 10:30! Our dinner service was extremely slow especially considering the fact that gratuity was automatically added to our bill. We spent over $800 there for above average seafood and extremely slow service. This was our 2nd time there. The first time we came during the week and sat at the bar and had a much better dining experience.

The food was fabulous and the waiter was very attentive but they started out recommending a very expensive wine. When we asked where that selection was on the list he had handed us we were directed to another book on the table with a price tag of $400 for the bottle. We ended up with three bottles of great wine moderately priced vs $1200. Also be cognizant of the water choices. Tap wasn't specifically mentioned on his list. Of the choices we selected “still”. It was $11 a bottle to the tune of $55 for our group. Ask the cost of things or you may be surprised when you get the bill.

This is a hidden gem in Nashville. Easy parking, nice atmosphere and the food was very good! There are not a lot of seafood places in Nashville and this one is now at the top of my list. It was a great experience and we will definitely come back.

Food should have been better given the ratings score. House salad was good, main dish of flounder was ok and did not like the tomato cobbler or other sides ordered. Tables are a little tight for taking a dessert cart through. Service was good albeit somewhat slow. Waiter was knowledgeable. Coconut cake was quite a good finish.

We enjoyed several different appetizers. Each dish was beautifully served and excellent. We sat at the bar and had great service from Mike and Genivieve. Delicious from the drinks, the bread basket, tomato cobbler, onion soup, beef tips with mushrooms, chopped salad, and chicken sliders. The coconut cake was moist and delicious.Parking: Park on 11th between jo Johnston and Charlotte.

Went two days in a row bc why they somewhere else when you know what's good! The seafood tray was delicious! And very filling. Everything tasted fresh and the plating was impeccable. On the second night, the ribeye had to be sent back bc it was well done. There was no problem with that at all and they sent it out again cooked at a perfect medium rare. The absolute star of both nights were the scallops! They tasted like...perfect seduction. The green sauce they are served with was impecable and so flavorful but not at all overpoweringly the cloud of potatoes they were served on were whipped to perfection as well. The service both nights was impeccable. Knowledge servers of both the food and vast wine menu. It is quiet and intimate and just what an approachable upscale dining experience should be m.

The tuna was much salter than it needed to be. Tje sauce was salty with the soy, but it tasted like a large amount of salt was poured over the fish, as well. Service was outstanding Will go back bitnqont order the tuna

We went there to celebrate the birthdays of two friends. From the minute we entered the staff was welcoming and made us feel at home. The ambiance was phenomenal from the gleaming red walls to the entertainment from a singer playing the piano. Our server was effusive when describing the menu items which made it hard to choose but we did!!! From the beginning to the end the food was outstanding! I have never had scallops that were that good. I tasted my friend's Dover Sole which was deboned at the table by a chef. It was light and flaky. Desserts were delicious!!! We all said that this restaurant deserved many repeat trips!!!

Exceptional menu! They import the South African lobsters on a daily for freshness! I love their crab cakes and the presentation. For sure one to none! Overall very fresh seafood! And the southern hospitality still never cease to amaze. Thank you!

The food was delicious, though I was hoping for something extra special. Sitting up front offers a nice view of the parking lot. While the location may not be ideal for a high-end restaurant, the prices reflect the quality of the experience. Though the dishes weren't exceptionally unique, they were still enjoyable.

Went there for my anniversary and we were disappointed. The drinks and apps were good. But the main meal was just meh. And not worth all we spent. Also we were out in an area that did not scream - celebrating an anniversary and we were right next to the servers station. Dont think we will return.
