I went to this place after seeing the mashvilleshiddengems guy reviewed it, and we ordered the exact same thing. And when I got my chicken shawarma bowl, it didn't look like his, basically less appetizing. The taste was okay, just not work an hour and ten minute drive... owner is a great person tho!

This place is kind of hidden in the back of a strip of buildings right off of Nolensville Pike and I am sad that I've driven by it so many times without having tried it. In the last month I've been 3 times, as I was super impressed with the food quality. I'm a vegetarian and the falafel is top notch. I've had both the falafel plate and the falafel sandwich and they were crispy on the outside, yet moist and flavorful on the outside. The staff was super friendly and the place has a nice chill vibe. I plan on stopping by more often now that I know what I've been missing.Vegetarian options: There were several vegan options too.Parking: I'd say there are 25-30 spots in this lot.

After many recommendations from friends, I finally made it to King Tut’s yesterday (3/19/24), I had a gyro, something I always enjoy when it’s done right, and this gyro was on the mark. The pita was soft and of a good quality. The meat was tender and flavorful, cut into chunks, and not typical shaved gyro meat. I also really appreciated the mixture of toppings, especially the pickled onions; not a traditional Greek gyro topping, but this is not Greek, it’s Egyptian, and it was certainly delicious. At King Tut’s, you order your food at a food truck, but you have the option of eating in a spacious, covered outdoor dining area, or in a smaller dining area on the inside of the main restaurant. The place is clean and the service was friendly. I’ll be back to try the other main dishes.

We ate at King Tut’s for the first time yesterday. It was absolutely delicious. We don’t live in Nashville but will definately eat there again when we are in town!

Sad to say that I have been here twice now and the first time the food was good decent size portions and a decent price and now the second time a lot has changed. The food was the same, better than average middle eastern food but the portions were just about half and the prices went up about &2 a plate. Think fine dining size portions. I will probably not go back.
