Visiting from out of town, love Italian food, and gave Luogo's a try based on reviews. Our server, Camille, was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were good, though my dry martini ended up somehow dirty. Be very specific about what you want. The meatball appetizer is a MUST. It is big and could easily be an entree. My husband and I shared it. I then ordered the pasta and clams. Total count on clams was seven which was disappointing for the price. Plus the dish was spicier than I've had in Italy. My husband ordered the branzino fish which as excellent. We did not have room for dessert. It's a bustling place moving people along.

The menu is almost sophisticated but the food is NOT! We had the eggplant appetizer, which is tasty, but frankly something you might get at a pizza joint. The gnocchi was so gloppy, with cream that it was hard to taste the actual dumplings and the clam with spaghetti, was merely a spicy but otherwise uneventful watery sauce over boxed and nothing special pasta. Nice room but no pizzazz and the service was fine but not exactly refined. Case in point, "these items are selling like hot cakes". High end prices with very average, well, everything. And so it is...

Wow, what an amazing meal and experience. Made a last minute reservation and could not have been happier. Great service, amazing food, and beautiful setting. Will certainly be coming back on our next visit to Nashville.

Luogo is by far the best Italian restaurant to hit Nashville by a long shot! I moved here 9 years ago born and raised in Los Angeles and was always disappointed with the restaurant selection (which has clearly changed over the last 9 years) and this is even better than anything I have had in NYC! My husband, Stan Davis, and I have not stopped coming here since we tried it! It always seems to be on a whim and I am in my workout clothes and no judgement either! We don’t like leaving our Brentwood bubble to downtown after work hours but do for this place! Food and service are impeccable and the owner Anthony Scotto is great and knowledgeable! Clearly puts his whole heart into it. Also, don’t miss the Thursday only Veal Parmigiana!

Kristian was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. The food was PERFECT. We got the pappardelle with duck ragu and the Chianti braised short rib. One of the best meals we’ve had in Nashville (been here for 18 years). Anthony, the owner, came by our table multiple times to converse and help with food delivery and service. This restaurant is special. We will absolutely come again. Would give 6 stars if I could.

The food, staff and drinks were great. Be careful when they ask for still or sparkling water. They bring bottles of Perrier for sparkling water and acqua panna for still. These were $7 each and there was no mention of price when they asked.

This place was AMAZING! My wife and I visited for drinks and appetizers and ended up eating way too much because everything we tasted was so delicious! Highly recommend the Gorgonzola Chips.

We had an amazing meal. From cocktails, to appetizers and entrees, everything was delicious. Service was also exceptional. Our server, Laura, was outstanding. Don’t skip dessert. Save room somehow.

Service - was GOOD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ our sever was very nice and friendly, not his fault the food is terrible. He did his job well.Focaccia - $6 for stale COLD bread they cut into tiny 4 thin slices, the fact that it was served COLD is crazyMeatball - tasted processed. Texture was off, mushy and tomato sauce very acidicPasta - not house made, over cooked, marinara sauce tasted like it was poured over the pasta straight out of the CAN into the dish.

First time at this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a family member and extremely happy she recommended it. The food is amazing, the staff was very friendly, polite and on top of their game. The owner, Mr. Scotto, took the time to ensure everything was perfect, even on a packed night, and was an amazing host. Went with my wife and another couple. All of us loved this restaurant and it will definitely be one we frequent on a normal basis. The only downside was we did not save enough room for desert lol.

My son and I came for his birthday and everything was perfect. The bolognese and braised short rib were wonderful and the staff was so kind. They made this night one we’ll never forget.

Start to finish Luogo is the full package. Excellent service, delicious food, interesting cocktails and wine. When the owner is on the floor, personally delivering food to tables and checking on guests - you know you're in good hands. Every table full on a weeknight is a testament to getting things right. Can't wait to go back. We had apps, pastas, mains, and dessert - not a single disappointing dish in the bunch. Standouts included the zucchini chips w gorgonzola (generous portion to share); salmon crudo; pasta with crab and tomato; veal chop; and you have to try the polenta! Like nothing I've ever tasted. For dessert go for the dark chocolate mousse cake.

First visit to Luogo, and had a nice time. Very attentive service and the food was good, a little rich for my liking but well prepared. We had a few appetizers which I liked (and forgot to take pictures of). The salad was my favorite followed by the burrata. I also had the gnocchi which was probably the dish that was a bit too rich for my taste.Lots of people celebrate birthdays here and they bring a dessert out with a sparkling candle. This candle lets off an awful smell.

Tonight was my first time dining at Luogo and It was absolutely incredible! Devon, our sever, was attentive, fun, engaging, and so incredibly genuine. Those initial interactions really set the tone for the rest of the meal. We had the short rib, spring salad, the zucchini & eggplant starter, polenta, and the crab pasta special. The food arrived in courses and we were able to enjoy all at on our pace, never feeling rushed, with service coming by at a measured interval to check in on us. The amazing wine and cocktail list and well-stacked bar helped keep spirits high (pun intended). Can't wait to come back again. Also, it's aesthetically beautiful and a true visual pleasure. The management were incredibly hospitable and all of the staff genuinely warm and happy.
