When I just want classic American food this is my go to. The food is good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is great. They don't do it fancy here, just good simple food. Great place for families and for something quick if you're hungry.
Great pub atmosphere, well decorated, nicely kept up with. Service was fantastic. If the food was halfway decent, we'd be regulars.We were excited about the open faced pot roast with mashed potatoes, what a let down. The roast beef was devoid of flavor and rubbery like it had been microwaved. Mashed potato felt and tasted like it was from powder. Gravy tasted funny and didn't make either better.Catfish was thin pieces that were overly crisp on the outside but the inside was not cooked all the way through. They did comp the catfish without me asking so that was good.Squash casserole was pretty good.Parking: Parking in lot is paid through the app but is comp'd if you ate inside.

I'm a sucker for meatloaf. Don't judge! Anyway, came here for lunch and tried a meatloaf sandwich and the key lime pie. I have both again (actually have a pretty good cake and pie selection). Good food in basically your wood paneled living room.

McCabe's Pub has always been a nice place to catch lunch and watch a ball game. Good burgers and sandwiches, great fruit tea, and the different fruit crunch desserts are good. Just a nice friendly neighborhood pub with good people. Have enjoyed this place for 20+ years

Everything was good but a little off.Mid Rare on my Hamburg Steak, here's Rare.Catfish bites as an appetizer? Let's over cook them a little. Fries? Almost fresh.The Buffalo wings & mashed potatoes were phenomenal with out a doubt.Service is also pretty good.

McCabe's Pub is not what it used to be. I visited in the 80's; food and drinks were exemplary! When in town, recently, I thought to re-visit. I am a connosseur of a good strong long island tea. Hope, the server was pleasant, but cared more about running a marathon, than any cordial conversation. The first LIT tasted like a watered-down Coke. I asked Hope to ask the bartender to please try, again. Meanwhile, I like liver and onions. I ordered it. When the liver and onions arrived, the appearance was epicurean; however, the liver was harder than rocks; after nearly bending two forks, I motioned for Hope. I demonstrated how rock-like the liver was. Hope was not impressed. I tried the second LIT--it was one of the worst LIT's I ever tasted. This pub is not for a baseball player, 3 strikes is an out. Phooey, I won't be back. DrL
