I was craving some Mediterranean food so when I saw Grilly’s on Google, I decided to try it out. To my surprise when I walked in the food hall, it was ghost kitchen style with electronic lockers that they placed your order in once completed. It was easy to order on the tablets inside and I waited about 15ish minutes (estimated wait time was 15-18). As soon as I got the text, I was able to click a link to open the locker and get my food quickly. I appreciated the ease and quickness of this! Also, Grilly’s food was a 10/10 - the shawarma meal was so good! Thank you!

The primary issue is honestly the lack of customer service. There is no phone number to call, just various messaging apps where they may or may not reply in 5 minutes. When you get someone, they may not even be at the place you ordered from. The second issue is the lack of care and understanding around celiac disease and the requirement that items be gluten free, marked gluten free, and that in the case where a mistake is made and the items are not marked, that you can quickly and easily get someone and get clarity around which item is gluten free (see above point about lack of easily accessible customer service.

This was one of the more bizarre food experiences I’ve been to in my life. Picture mixing the vibe of a post office with random assortments of food options… that’s what Midtown Foods is. You walk in to a sterile, undecorated hallway with a bunch of lockers. Your order sends you a link to open a specific locker, and there your food is, sitting inside a cold, metal locker. No personal interaction whatsoever. For the record, this place is also not in Nashville’s Midtown at all. It’s tucked away in a very strange section of town off Charlotte Pike.I hate to be mean, but I cannot imagine this concept lasting long.

the bathroom is all the way jacked up, no one is facilitating anything, orders take foRRReverrrr, and the worst part is they do nothing to reassure you that theyre working on the order.

I got my order set online, for pick up due to Thanksgiving holiday, I’ve been waiting more than 35 minutes to get my after I’ve received a text message says, food is prepared and ready for pick up soon! I’ve tried to speak with one of food workers at the window when Cusomer gets orders from! Guess what the man doesn’t speak English and was using his hands or finger to communicate with customers , i noticed the food packaging was so bad and gets opened consistently to check the item before hand it to customers or delivery drivers.

I'm leaving 1 star review not for the restaurant, but for Midtown Foods. I support small business, but yesterday 11/24/2023 restaurant said "Open" but it was actually closed. Midtown Foods accepted my payment and I received confirmation email saying "we are preparing your order NOW", I went to pickup location and waited ONE HOUR, only to find out restaurant was actually closed on that day. I won't mention name of the restaurant because it's not the restaurant's fault. Can Midtown Foods reply to my email or call my cell phone, to explain to me why the website is NOT accurate? Because now I'm afraid to place order, because it may be closed when it says open on the website. how do I know if the hours listed are actually reliable? Midtown Foods website does NOT have restaurants' phone numbers, do I have to google and call each restaurant every time BEFORE placing an order???

Ordered from the new restaurant Smashin Crab at Midtown Foods. Order the Catfish Atchafalaya, Jambalaya Bites and The Crab Trap Boil for our family dinner. Food tasted amazing. Came out hot and fast. Will be ordering more for sure in the days and weeks to come!

Literally waited over an hour for my food with no line & food was not good. Would NOT recommend, also doesn’t accept cash or even have a cashier. 0/10
