Excellent food, mostly jazzed about the starters, beet salad (best I’ve ever had) and sides. I really didn’t even need a main at that point. I’ll go back just for the beet salad!

Atmosphere and service was excellent, the food was only Ok, nothing extraordinary, steak was little to dry for a medium rare.

Amazing service and gorgeous setting. Our server was so welcoming and the food came out very quickly. The steak was cooked to perfection and they have very large portions. Its definitely worth the price tag.

Fantastic experience!!! Highly recommend the Mac n cheese and the Brussels. The staff were fantastic. The location is right down town and a 5min walk to Bridgestone Arena. We arrived at 530pm for a 7:30 show and had plenty of time.

We had a group of 16 come in for a work event. Andy, our server was attentive and helped the group navigate the menus and options. For was exceptional and the menu offered something for everyone. Would definitely come back.

Let's start with the appetizer, Char Grilled Giffords Bacon, which was very tough to cut and eat. Add to that, the requests to box up leftovers, which apparently doesn't inlcude the entree, which in my case was half of the 14oz NY Strip, for which we were charged $65. When you ask for the leftovers, apparently you need to ensure you state it's NOT just the side dishes. Very disappointing!

A HUGE thank you to Star, a hostess at the front that assisted us in getting a reservation. We had a very long day of travel and were eager to get a nice meal. Star helped us get a table and a time that worked for us, got us seated and acclimated when we arrived, and was super accommodating and nice to my kid. Food is great, the decor and ambience is exceptional. Bar service might have been a big sluggish but the quality cocktails made it worth the wait. Thank you again to Star- our Nashville travels are complete and her attention/service sticks out as the best experience we had service wise throughout the week!

I was overly excited and completely hyped up to try Oak Steakhouse! I absolutely adored the atmosphere. Phenomenal service! The drinks were worth the visit, for sure.Out of the entire menu, the drinks, the cheese board and the bread and butter basket was the only thing that I am able to brag about; and my friends and I ordered a ridiculous amount of food. The bone marrow— I personally could not get past the smell. It had a foul smell that lingered. Out of the crew of 8– there was one person that didn’t spit the bone marrow out. Maybe this is a food that has an acquired taste? I’m not sure, but what I am sure of is that the server gawked over it while giving an explanation of the Bone Marrow, and we were let down when we tasted it.The mashed potatoes, I honestly can not even remember what taste they had. Even though it was less than a week ago.I normally eat ALL Brussels when they are ordered. Yes, even the shareable sized side items. For the first time in my life, I left all but a small handful uneaten. Now… the A5 Wagyu- which is probably what you scrolled down this review for; in order to get an idea of the taste, flavor, texture, juiciness, and all around taste. Anyone who knows their wagyu, knows that A5 Japanese Wagyu is most likely going to take some breaths away. Not this “A5 Wagyu”. I even asked the server if it was Japanese A5. I was told that it was. I have NEVER spit Japanese A5 Wagyu out. Never Ever! I did just that at Oak Steakhouse! There is no way that the steak that our entire party had was the same A5 that Bourbon Steakhouse serves. The “A5 Japanese” Wagyu at Oak Steakhouse was nothing but chewy, unpleasant bite of broken dreams!I wanted so badly to fall head over heels in love with the food— as I did with the atmosphere. I wanted to have a 2nd choice for A5 Wagyu in Nashville. Other than Bourbon Steakhouse, which is my ALL TIME favorite. However, this was not the case!If you are planning a trip to Oak Steakhouse and you are familiar with the real-deal A5 Japanese Wagyu, I would recommend shooting for a burger or something not as extravagant. My world was crushed. We actually left much earlier than expected and walked over to Bourbon Steakhouse and squeezed into the bar for some real desserts, some drinks and one heck of a view! Bourbon Steakhouse out does all!The crème brûlée was cold all the way through. I’m not sure if crème brûlée is supposed to be cold or warm, but I love mine warm. I do not like cold cream Brûlé.I didn’t take many photos as I was not impressed. I did however, snap a picture of the Bone Marrow.Parking: Free Valet Parking as long as you get your ticket stamped by Oak Steakhouse team member. Reservations only. Good Drinks and Yummy Bread Basket!

Such a beautifully designed space. It feels so warm and cozy with brick and modern wood accents. The service was thoughtful, attentive and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed every dish, but the big winners at the table included the duo steak dish and brussel sprouts. These are a must order! If you are a fan of old fashions, there are multiple options available according to your flavor profile preference.

This on of the many upscale steakhouses in downtown Nashville. If you don't mind $200 for a great steak and great side items then I highly recommend Oak. They have a fair wine list and a good Bourbon selection. Service was outstanding

This is a an amazing steakhouse! Obviously the steak was great but the Mac and cheese side was amazing! Also great shrimp cocktail. I highly recommend it ? ?
