3.5 stars I would have rated it 4-stars if it weren’t so loud inside. Pastaria would be a great is the place to bring the kids to have pizza and pasta while the parents have a cocktail. We thought it was a wee bit pricey for casual dining ($26 for a bowl of pasta) that had way too much olive oil in the bottom of the bowl for my liking but overall the pasta was delicious. Just loud.

Unbelievably incredible service. We celebrated our daughter’s 5th birthday while in town from Texas. Every course came out with a candle for her and the server took time to give us thorough advice on places to check out while in town. We were blown away by the entire staff, and the food was to die for!

Great house made pastas, sauced properly.Edit: Better every time. Glad to be back in TN and had to visit.Pizza: pesto with arugula. Wonderful little bit of spice, perfectly chewy crust. Loved it.Garganelli: Incredible, perfectly cooked house pasta, with a tender lamb ragout. Nice bit of cheese. Great with a few extra pepper flakes.Negroni: Served perfectly, tasted wonderful.10/10. Eat here, best casual pasta spot in the area.

I don’t really leave reviews, but the food and service at this Italian joint are absolutely incredible. Get the beets, bucatini, burrata, and gelato for sure. Every dish has fantastic flavor and unique spins on classics. It’s not fine dining, but it’s the #1 Italian in Nashville and it’s not even close.
