My friend and I dropped by Peg Leg Porker yesterday. The place is a straightforward, no-frills BBQ joint that really delivers on flavor. We kicked things off with a batch of chicken wings coated in a superb dry rub--just the right combination of spices. We also shared a full rack of ribs, which were absolutely phenomenal: tender, smoky, and well-seasoned. I don't usually go for dry rub but this was oerfectio For sides, we went with the mac 'n cheese and BBQ beans, both of which were delicious and complemented the mains perfectly. The ambiance is casual and friendly, ideal for a relaxed meal. Service was swift and attentive, which I always appreciate. If you're after solid, tasty barbecue in Nashville, Peg Leg Porker should definitely be on your list.

Stopped in here for lunch on a visit to Nashville. The service was fast and friendly. Food was great. The sausage is a bit spicy in case that bothers you but it was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors is a little dark but it doesn't impact your food . Would definitely stop back in.

We heard ahead of time about this place and were a bid disappointment. The pulled pork was ok but nothing to brag home about. The fries were soggy and the Mac and cheese used shell instead of macaroni, not great. Place was run down.

Peg Leg is a no-frills bbq spot with ample seating, casual lighting and ambience, and a bar area with local brews and TVs. We loved it, told two friends who were also in town and they later went and also loved it. And thus began my career as an influencer. -Ribs: the best thing we ordered. So amazingly tender, a great smoke, and a Cajun dry rub. Great on their own or dipped in sauce. -Pulled pork: a great runner up to the ribs. Very tender and really allows the bbq sauces to shine. -Mac and cheese: this is pretty much always my favorite side at a bbq place, but it was really swoon-worthy here. Giant, pillowy shells topped with light, airy, peppery cheese. -Potato salad and smoked green beans: both solid side options, too! -I had a local wheat beer that was good, but I can't remember what it was called. The sauces come in two varieties: mild and hot. Both are more on the tangy, rather than bold or sweet, side. The hot version was do-able for me, but my tastebuds were a little uncomfortable! (I usually am a medium-spice person.) We were here on a Thursday evening and it wasn't busy at all... until it suddenly was. We didn't have to wait to order at all, but as we were leaving, we noticed a line that comprised several groups at least. Didn't interact with the staff that much but they were very nice and chill.

This BBQ joint is amazing! It's no frills, just straight up good BBQ, tables, chairs, and enough BBQ sauce to stop your heart from beating. Get you some Dry Rub Ribs and some Kool-Aid Pickles and you got yourself a grade A Tennessee BBQ meal. I highly recommend Peg Leg Porker for all your gourmet BBQ needs.

Great BBQ in Nashville. Their ribs are better than Martin's. They also have something called Kool aid pickles, which I have not tried but thought it was interesting. Great portions for the price. Their hot BBQ sauce is actually hot so take caution when adding it to your food. Ate here twice in while in Nashville for a few days.

I have been coming here during my Nashville trips for almost a decade and the quality of the bbq has never wavered nor declined. If you're looking for an excellent dry rub pork ribs, this place has the jazz!

Good, but doesn't match the hype. I was not disappointed, but I would not rush back. I would give it 3.5 stars.
