What a wonderful Italian restaurant. The food was extraordinary as well as the service. The only problem - we don’t live in Asheville, so we can’t return. The restaurant is not CLOSED. The bruschetta was delicious and perfect - the best we’ve ever tasted.

I came to Pomodoro East for happy hour, and it hit the spot. They have discounts on cocktails and light bites. It's located along a strip of shops and businesses, the shops at Porter East. There's plenty of parking out front. Service is great, they offer complimentary bread. The lighting is dim, leaving an intimate ambiance. Service was quick and friendly, but I still recommend making a reservation!

Review of visit occurred during snow & ice storm so some items were unable to be delivered but found tuna tartar to be delicious & enormous portion. Enjoyed polenta especially with marinara addition. Mozzarella appetizer with tomatoes, pancetta & lemon was tasty though consistency of cheese was very unusual. There was so much to the apps we never even made it to the entree though my guest did enjoy the tiramisu.

Impressed. Great service, and one of the best pizzas. Would highly recommend.

This restaurant was an absolute amazing experience. This was a nicer and more expensive place than we normally go, but this was an evening of celebration and the whole experience was just fantastic. From the service to the food everything was top notch. We even notified the waiter of food allergies and he would verify with the chef to make sure that we ordered something safe and good. I can't wait to go back again.

Pomodoro East is consistently one of the best restaurants we patronize in Nashville! The food is always of an extremely high quality as is the service. In good weather we opt for the patio where we can sit and enjoy a nice cocktail while embracing the East Nashville vibe. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a surprise find in East Nashville! First off, their COVID measures are on point. The tables are socially distanced and all of the staff are wearing masks. They did seat a party of 6 right behind us towards the end of our meal, which was a little concerning, but we were paying the bill and ready to leave. The food was delicious! The mussels were flavorful and the serving was huge. Which makes sense because the mussels themselves were very tiny... baby mussels? The cheese plate is a must, order this as soon as you sit down. The cheeses rotate weekly, so it will be something different every time you come back. This plate comes with deli meats; salami, pepperoni, and candied almonds. My seared tuna was amazing! Two huge tuna steaks lightly seared with a big slab of fried polenta, yessss, give it to me! I normally don't get this type of Italian food when dining out, usually opting for a classic red sauced heavy pasta meal, but I'm so glad I diverted. I did sample my wife's lemon artichoke fettuccine and it was very good, but heavy with lemon flavor. Shout out to our server, David! He was attentive, without hovering and very friendly. Five stars?! Yes, for food, service, and following COVID rules.

We went to Pomodoro East to celebrate my mom's birthday. We tried the pork, chicken parmesan, and lemon artichoke fettuccine entrees, along with the fig and pig pizza. All the dishes were fabulous. The meats were fork tender, and the flavors melded well. We also tried the tiramisu, chocolate cake, and pound cake desserts. We all agreed that the pound cake should be a permanent, not seasonal addition to the menu. Sooo good! Randi, our server, was very kind and her service was impeccable. Will definitely keep this restaurant on our list of favorites for when we return to Nashville.

I was looking forward to coming here and having good Italian food, the menu looks amazing and I did get the chance to try the calamari which was delicious. However, I do have to say I am thoroughly disappointed in the standards the manager sets for everyone...At least from the outside view anyways. You hear them speak of "6 ft social distancing" but we had to move to another table due to a group being put right up against us. Anyways, we had the calamari and wanted to keep the sauce for bread dipping. Well while moving again to another table, our sauce was trashed with a napkin (by the manager) that was dropped on the floor and our waiter tried to bring it back to us after taking the napkin off it. I called him out on it and so he took it away and then I had a chat with the manager and she lied to us saying she wasn't aware of the situation yet I watched her, watch him take the napkin off that she slapped onto it. If she is willing to lie and do that what else is this place doing?
