Outstanding. We ordered two vegan plates and 6 lentil sambusas. Phone ordering was extremely easy. When I arrived she already had the plates boxed up and pulled the sambusas. They were hot and crispy, and she left the paper bag open so they wouldn't get soft (a wonderful attention to detail!). The person I picked up from was so nice to interact with. She said she was not the owner, but the cook. I was captivated by her passion for quality and cooking good food from scratch, cutting no corners. When I got home and dug into the plate, I could see that it was beautifully and carefully presented. I expected collard greens (gomen) on the plate. Usually they are cooked to death. Ok, that's fine, I live in the south, I am used to this. But this is the first time the gomen (Collard Greens) still had their vibrant green color! And yet, they were perfectly cooked! I took one bite and thought, these greens are fresh... and they are cooked by someone who knows how to cook greens! And then next bite, the cabbage (Atakilt Wat). Unlike the greens, the cabbage had been cooked thoroughly until it was meltingly tender and full of flavor. It was exquisite. It reminded me of my mother's.The meal was little more expensive than other places I have been, but it was absolutely worth it. I have had a lot of Ethiopian food in the past in much larger cities than Nashville. I can truly say it was the best Ethiopian in Nashville!October 31, 2023 - curbside pickup only was easy, fast, and convenient. My highest recommendation!Vegetarian options: Choose the vegan platter. Lentil sambusas are vegan.Dietary restrictions: Choose the vegan platter. Lentil sambusas are vegan.Parking: Parking right in front of the restaurant. Lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: It is curbside pickup only. If children love Ethiopian food, they will love it. The tastes are for every one. For children, the most mild dish in the restaurant is the yellow split peas that comes in the vegan plate - kik alicha. You can request it. The cabbage would also be good for children, because the cabbage is mild, flavorful, and very tender.

The best Ethiopian in Nashville. We drive from Brentwood despite there being closer Ethiopian options nearby. The food is fantastic. We get the vegan combo (we are not vegan/ vegetarian) but it is just so good. We always order it as take out. 10/10!

Maybe someone can describe what's so great. I LOVE Ethiopian food and I am sure it's good and I work nearby. So....I went to the building and couldn't find how to get the food. FINALLY!, I found out it's some kind of small window like opening. Then....I tried to order food and he said it would be 30 minutes! Seriously? If I am missing something and someone can tell me, I will give it another shot. For that trouble, Kobe and the Mexican restaurant right next door get my business instead.

Incredible food. I was a little disappointed when I got there and they were only doing take out. I love the whole experience of sitting in the restaurant, eating and drinking the tea, but since the food was so good, I didn’t mind eating in my car.The vegan combo is HUGE. Definitely recommend checking it out.

We loved our meal from rehoboth so much! I got the #1 with lamb and my wife got the #4 vegan. We loved them both SO MUCH. The flavors were just out of this world and so fresh. One meal can feed two hungry person, or one really hungry person. The workers there were so nice too. Cant wait to go back!

The best Ethiopian food around! Everything was perfectly spiced and perfectly cooked! No overcooked mush, no bland bites wanting more. The injera was beautifully sour and fresh. The woman was so lovely and helped us lots. The shop is closed for indoor seating but there is a picnic table outside we sat at and enjoyed the weather. We got the vegan / vegetarian combo and it was amazing and SO much food. Definitely can satisfy two people (or 2 meals just for me!!)Vegetarian options: GREAT vegetarian / vegan combo. Well seasoned and cooked. Great variety of foods in the one dish.

Incredible food! There is no indoor dining so carryout only. You can call to place an order or order at the door. I had the vegan platter which contained a delicious variety of Ethiopian dishes. Potatoes and carrots, yellow lentils, collard greens, red lentils, cabbage and beets. All are seasoned to perfection and very generous portions. The bread, injera, is soooo good and they give you tons of it to eat with your food. The Awaze beef tibs (yes, tibs) are so tasty and have a little spice to them. We loved the sambusas, little fried pies stuffed with seasoned meat or lentils. Perfect for eating in the car in the way home!

Was passing through Nashville and looking for a good restaurant for take out. First time trying Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. Had the vegan plate and was to full to finish it all sadly because it was very good.

Discovered this place a few months ago and have ordered too many vegan plates to count! It's SO delicious. We live out in M'boro, but anytime we have to swing by the airport or we're in the area, we make sure to stop by for carry out. We still need to try their meat dishes, but honestly, the vegan plate is so good that we can't help but to order it again and again. Highly recommend!
