The food is excellent and having had soul food since I been back to Nashville! I will never go back to Swetts, yuk. Everything looks and smelled so delicious. That's my spot for now on. Love it!

Nothing about this place is Soulful....The food is horribly salty and gross. My yams were overcooked. The turnip greens were extremely salty!! My roll was hard. This place is very overrated. The cashier had a nasty attitude. She was not pleasant at all on this Sunday evening.. I highly support black businesses, but this is one I will never return to! UNPLEASEDDietary restrictions: If you have blood pressure issues please don't try this place, you will be hospitalized. Extreme salt!!

From the salmon patties, smothered pork chops, beef tips and chicken....it's ALL good. The only sides i have tried are the green beens, cabbage, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I have been going here for about 25 years anf as long as I live in Nashville and it is open. I will continue to go! I love Silver Sands.❤️

My customer service was horrible, she over prices her food. Speaking of which the food is salty if you have hypertension don't eat here and my corn bread wasn't cooked all the way I bit into it and I felt like I was eating sand.

I have always heard great reviews on this restaurant overall! But I did experience a hot water cornbread issue and the with pork chop gravy being a little greasy also. This was a few years ago, the hot water cornbread wasn't cooked properly, and the young lady at that time asked did I want a roll in exchange in which she never gave me one, so of course I walked out. I never went there again to eat, seems to me in the comments that it's more positive feedback. Plus it seems u all change cooks too often.
Silver Sands has the best food hands down, but the organization and how the line is ran is not well thought out. Every time I go there I have a 35-45 min wait with only about 5-7 people in front of me. I also tried to call my orders in, but they don't answer their phone during rush hour. This is really sad because I know they could double their business if they improved the way they manage the line. If you are only open for B-fast & lunch then you have to be properly staffed to maximize that time.
